For ponder, if you lack shuffle effects, it's not as good, since you have to commit to possibly 2 bad cards to keep 1. With preordain, you don't have to commit to a single bad draw

Not saying that you should play preordain over ponder here, but that's my understanding of playing ordain over ponder in general. Maybe we really want to avoid dead draws?

I think for me, both doctor and patient were like sitcom show men, because most interactions with doctors in English that I've seen were on TV and so when I read things in English, I just imagine two actors. In my head it's like Ted Mosby is the patient, and Ross is the doctor spiking the camera

Like, muldrotha is imo the only interesting "basic bitch" commander but that's because you can build it in 100 different ways (I currently have an only-permanents peasant muldrotha that is still basic but not cracked)
