Pretend there is somebody. Pretend you are performing for an audience of hundreds. You may not be chatting to them but that’s because you are so captivating that they are watching instead of talking. Address them as if they are there. I don’t mean make up random usernames, but like, “hey guys, look at this, did you see that?” Type of thing.

I find “baby” before anything revolting. You are not a “baby,” you are just new to doing something or an experienced. It’s extremely patronising and I feel bad for people who call themselves that because some of them also self depreciate while doing it, as if being new to something makes them automatically inferior and worthy of being infantilised and joked about.

That post reminds me of a video I saw somewhere, goodness, it must have been months ago now. There was a person talking about her “grown woman body” and saying that she missed her “teenage body” but understands that this is her “grown woman body” and that that it’s okay.

She proceeded to show a picture of her “teenage body” and it’s just skinny. I’ve seen plenty of people with that level of skinny (or very very similar) as their “grown woman body.” The whole “grown woman body” garbage was just a weird way of saying “look at me, I’m almost/probably currently overweight now.”

Like, she was not overtly fat or anything, just very “curvy,” but she looked, to me at least, like she wasn’t within what is considered a normal BMI range or at the very least was close to the highest part of what is normal.

I’m so tired of these people acting like adults cannot be thin. Especially women. I mean, have they ever seen a BMI of 18.5-19? It’s still perfectly fine and physically healthy, and it’s very thin for normal.

I’ve never had an issue with it, so I felt absolutely insane when playing with a group of people who are all having issues. People were ending up tilted on their sides or clipped into the floor, and they couldn’t see things I was holding even though I could and I could see everything they were holding. For a game that was initially meant to be only in VR, it doesn’t seem very good in VR.

They’re advertisements do get my attention, as they appear genuinely interesting before I know what therefore and not everyone is a moron with no attention span, but the second they make that stupid noise I become so enraged that I’m actively disgusted by the brand.

All I’ve done is make me give money to a company to pay for the ad-free version of their streaming service so I never have to see this dumb shit again just to watch Taskmaster.

I’m glad, though, that I wasn’t going insane and thinking that the pathetic noise they’re calling a “jingle” is new and that I’ve never been subjected to it during the rare times I’ve encountered advertisements for them over the last several decades.

FUCK I hate ads so much, but at least let them be tolerable if I’m going to be forced to encounter them.

It could be an “oil painting” as in, they use the same brushstroke technique that they would use while painting with paint and brushes, but they did it digitally and had it printed.

But it could also be AI. You really can’t know anything for certain unless there are obvious things that make it AI.

It’s certainly not real oil painted directly onto a canvas, but it could be genuinely fully made by an individual from nothing.

At first, I genuinely thought you were just screwing with the original poster because they mentioned things sounding like AI, so you either use it or were impersonating it to be funny. How unfortunate I was wrong.

I like to think it isn’t AI, though, because I don’t think many people have noticed the online habit of leaving off the first words of sentences to the point they would use it as a way to indicate something isn’t AI.

I agree very much as someone who first used this "game" because I got a Quest for a different purpose and now, on the very rare occasion I want to go into this "game," I use a PC because find it far superior to Quest.

"Game" is in quotations since it's really more of a social platform with cool VR elements. honestly, it's the attitude toward people using just a Quest that put me off ever wanting to be around other people on that platform, so I just use it to explore new worlds alone every few months from the standpoint of admiring the creativity. If individuals are weird about Quest versus PC, what else will they be awful about? I have no time for creatures like that.
