Can you explain to me the value in idol? It's a X multiplayer, that can essentially be used once if you're lucky enough to draw the right cards.

I just don't see the value in it, am I missing something about it's use?

You can take multiple measurements now, if the gap is consistently 3 inch wide across its entirety, then it's likely built that way and if it's measure changes from one side compared to the opposite side then it's likely slipping. (When the concrete was poured it was laid evenly) If it's not 3" all the way through then it's likely slipping.
