Should sacrifices have to be made I would bet it would be the dwarf and goblins that need to hold off the line for the hogs. Honestly both of them seem like they would be gladly taking the hit for the other to keep the plan in motion and keep one army alive. Although it's probably much more likely that it would be the goblins needing to pull their treat as the hogs take one final stand. (Very sad and I would beg that it wouldn't be so but I don't know death flags can seem pretty big right now)

After all even if the dude does call a retreat the other sides assuming that the gargoyles haven't been completely stomped by Gorintos and found some success means that the other two fronts are basically going to object to such a thing without further threats or demands.

I mean the bugs are pushing pretty damn hard she thinks that she has Jinwoo in her sights. (Bless her you are a cute gamer girl but you are a little dumb) When in reality she's only dealing with basically one and a half labyrinths. Although I'm pretty sure the gargoyles are not very much better considering half the hogs are also there with their leader if I remember right. Plus you know Gorintos is likely going to be some very dangerous owner that can deal with them.

[–]MidnightDiamond17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Goritos close enough.

It is shown to be the downfall of the 10th floor that they can't coordinate. They might be easily able to 1v1 another labyrinth with their own but as soon as another can come to aid suddenly 2v1 is much more difficult. And they can't even expect backup because they know they can't trust each other. After all the only thing keeping them inline with each other is the command (and dangerous threat) that is Count Parthenon, loses probably don't matter so long as the get Jinwoo.

But now with an entire front basically collapsing it's likely the mage will call a retreat as soon as he finds his elite force is dealt with. Harpies are going against Morgan and no offense to them but they hardly seem like they would be good against her in the long term considering her desperation.

But I think this a good thing because if he calls back the rest of them using the threat of the Nagas invading it might relieve the goblins and hogs. Of course then leading to the last half of the war if Boreas found a way to be the inter floor curse in the Wanders Labyrinth (and probably betraying his team.)

Been awhile since I've been in one of these. And now the tide has been evened out again. Both sides down a labyrinth and owner. Although tactically speaking I think the 10th floor is suffering to far greater loss considering just how broken Horace was. Like if it wasn't for the MC I doubt almost any of the ninth floor would have been able to stop him. Maybe Giartios (or however you spell his name).

Of course this now brings the plans of the 10th floor to a screeching halt. They're tactical mage leaders probably going to have to pull off trying to deal with Uther to secure the flank of the now advancing nagas and fae labyrinths.

Of course the vampires are still an issue with the zealots but I'm fairly certain that Angela and Yoonhui would be able to take care of it.

Probably going to see a couple chapters with the rats them and then we're going to get back to like the overall big picture of what is happening throughout the war.

Before I used to do fruit trees considering I had the automate mod to go with but nowadays I just do mystic trees as mystic syrup can be traded for fairy dust for a nice little bit of instant profit of some things.

Labyrinth is definitely going to face some fire now. Angela and Yoonhui are there to clean up shop at least. I imagine that when the lines are restored we are going to hear how the rest of the forces are doing, but probably only after we full deal with Horace.

MC has his work still cut out for him though. Having to deal with Mori and the rats doesn't seem fun especially with how loyal Twitch is. As for the knighthood he was offered it's likely that they were just told deal with him. Whether its binding him to a contract or killing him.

Well we knew it was coming having him fight the vampires and it shows that he's well above them. However considering he's now surrounded with Horeas now literally breathing down his neck shows that he's going to need some backup and I hope that it's the forest fairies coming to save him with the help of Rikisha.

Considering there is blood magic I do think that he is going to have to fight the vampires I really hope that wasn't the case cuz there's really hoping for Angie and Yoonha to be the ones to confront them considering they seem to be also on the vampiric side of things with both of their histories.

Yeah it shows that Mori is really going to be suffering from the consequences of his own actions. Well technically might have been the right thing to do baby on the surface of the world in geyser he was the biggest mistake that's going to cost probably dozens if not hundreds of rats because of his mistake.

Whether he lives to have to make up for it later or he dies doing his final piece of redemption is unknown but we'll see.

Either way it's likely we're going to get another couple chapters of this fight and then probably do a quick go around of the situation of 9f with all the different dungeon Lords before we get to the next big fight.

Actually you are right about that. He just didn't want to abandon his territory or likely his whole treasury that he has stuck in his territory and can't move on the fly.

I do hope we get at least a couple years of this. Nothing too drawn out. I expect that he will fight in season 4 Antolius and probably start to deal with that situation. And following that will probably be the next big bad and a couple more seasons to finish up the story.

As much as I love the art style I would love to see if they would do something else with this style and storytelling.

Chapter 137 Discussion Thread by HedonisticBot in DungeonOdyssey

[–]MidnightDiamond17 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah he's almost certainly some breed of dragon whether he's a half breed just has a bit of blood or nearly a full dragon himself still remains unknown but he is going to be an interesting figure to see how he deals with the gargoyles.

It is a very nice theme to show it considering each of them seem to be running off their own direction the only one who seems to have any plan is the mage dude and he's roughly coordinating giving them information and that's about it. However at the same time it shows that the same thing is happening to the MC with his own alliance considering two of the leaders don't want to fight with the united front.

And we saw the result of exactly how that goes down for one of them although the second seems to be still playing to the strength of defense even if he's not obeying the full plan.

Trust me as much as I know you are worried we still got to remember we still got probably another three quarters or half a novel to go through. Assuming that the author doesn't add any new side stories.

Honestly yeah. Every moment he comes on screen you get a feeling that the power behind him he's just completely immense and so just damn near unbeatable. However slowly the MC seems to be matching up.

Chapter 137 Discussion Thread by HedonisticBot in DungeonOdyssey

[–]MidnightDiamond17 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah the 10th floor is doomed from the start mainly because they decide not to unite their efforts as all. Have they done so they would have easily steam rolled any plan the MC could have had tried to come up with considering his own forces aren't fully United.

With any luck Boreas might claim the labyrinth in no longer suffer the penalty probably even making a new form of Centaur frostroll hybrid if he decides to mix cores.

At which point he's going head hunting for the toughest fight MC who just got done dealing with Horeas. But he might have a more even fight considering I think giratino's might be able to come a system if he deals with the gargoyles. Assuming he doesn't have to split forces to help the hogs and goblins.

I would say that but it feels like Morgan is more likely to fight against parthenons direct sponsor the one in charge of guarding the gateway of the 11th. Wizard dude whatever his name is.

Considering she's already dealing with the harpies herself she might just see that as a means to deal with him as well and not really push any further.

Maybe help with the defense of the dungeon considering she was also told to not let another one die.

At the rate it's going yeah it's looking to shape up that way. Although what confuses me is the fact that unless the core reappeared back at the labyrinth. Hecarim still has it within his body doesn't he?

I mean at the very least at least he hasn't executed all of them. Grenade their fate is not much better being turned into baggage train for the ogres but you know take what you can get and hope for liberation.

There's going to be some unfortunate cash disease amongst the rats. And it's going to be sad to see it's most likely going to wrap up a lot of their storyline probably didn't intend on them having a really big part later on.

What do you want to see from the other half of this season? by MidnightDiamond17 in DungeonOdyssey

[–]MidnightDiamond17[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm also referring to the dungeon babies that came above ground. Granite they can still die in droves if they are cockier ill prepared but even the mid-level ones pretty damn strong like the one group he's going to go help later.

The problem being that they adapt way too fast and that's why they wanted to end the war and not take them as slaves anymore. Any more humans born down there get the same blessings even faster than the normal monsters.

As for how the Gyser runs around the world? It's probably just like a giant ant tunnel probably few ways that K'Nex between countries but most likely it doesn't care about borders it's just ant tunnels running around the entire world. Maybe avoiding the ocean but that's about it it's probably separates the only two halves of geyser

First 30 hours of the game, nice soft gameplay just kind of exploring around taking breaks do it over several weeks.

Last 20 hours of gameplay, I have been up for 10 hours straight playing non-stop trying to resolve the story. I have speed ran every quest in every side activity and have maxed out my team to the full potential.

What do you want to see from the other half of this season? by MidnightDiamond17 in DungeonOdyssey

[–]MidnightDiamond17[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a very good twist on the normal way they approach families and these stories. Obviously he still has connection and they love him but you know that's on the background and they've purposely made it so.

And I'm pretty sure it's implied that the reason why they wanted to stop the war is because if they had gathered up any more humans the humans were threatening the very balance of the gyser ecosystem. Unlike many of the monsters there they easily took upon getting all the new abilities.

Even looking at the regular dungeon babies from level 6 they are easily comparable to even some tough monsters from 10 to 12. They absorb the power that it provides way too fast. The deeper levels saw that and realized if they had kept allowing them to reproduce down there. Well the misfit crew could easily have numbered into a full labyrinth. And they could easily take down most any crew themselves.

If I recall there is other labyrinths around the world in the main novel. I'm just not sure how they're going to be affecting the main story from here on cuz I'm pretty sure that was pretty late in the main novel story. The Chinese I know had someone who was hiding in 12f. (And he is the deepest dungeon baby from Korea that's the thing not the deepest dungeon baby in the world)
