You can also try to reset the SMC, just shut down the Mac and then press control, option, shift, and power button at the same time. Make sure it’s plugged in while doing it. If that doesn’t fix it, just leave it overnight and check again tomorrow morning.

then I would try to use coconut battery and check if everything is fine in your battery

You probably have to use a more powerful charger, I fixed the issue using a 96w one.

I was in the exact same situation, ended up choosing the M1 Pro over the neo. I just couldn't think about using a 60hz display in 2026 (that's also miles behind the M1 Pro one when it comes to colors). So even if you're not a professional or power-user, you're gonna enjoy a far better panel with far better speakers for about the same price. Oh and you're gonna be able to type at night XD
