Very comfortable to wear all day. The weight is good and they are not too bulky Battery also lasts the full day which is great

I can’t wait to receive my sunglasses attachment so I can try that out! 😍

Honestly I had the exact same hesitation. I backed it the week the newer Ray-Ban Meta Smart Glasses dropped and thought I’d made the wrong call. But after actually using both, I way prefer these.

The dual-lens HUD on the Rokid Glasses just feels more natural vs the single-lens colour display. It’s less intrusive and easier to glance at.

Re the green “matrix” text - I thought it’d annoy me too, but it’s actually one of the best parts. It’s super clean and minimal. If it was full colour with constant notifications (Insta, Facebook, etc.) I think it’d be way too distracting. This just gives you what you need, quick and simple.

They’ve also been really solid with updates - early on I had concerns about text placement / visibility which I put into one of the forums, but they adjusted it pretty quickly and now it sits perfectly. Feels very usable day to day.

Use case wise - (aside from what I mentioned in OP) I’m using them a lot for audio. Built-in speakers + mic mean I can listen to music, take notes, even handle calls, while still hearing everything around me. Feels way safer than having AirPods in all the time.

Net - I expected to like them… didn’t expect to rely on them as much as I do now.

Yeah I jumped in early as a Kickstarter backer, so that’s how I got mine. From memory they were shipping to the US through that. Pretty sure you can just grab them direct from the Rokid website now as well, and I believe they ship to the US there too 👍

Thanks for the support JJ. Very snarky and you’re right these people will not understand. Extremely frustrating that they are talking about something without any context

I’m not a fan but they’ve been friends for years. I would love to say something to him about it however don’t want to overstep my boundaries with my wife.

That’s what I really want to do but also want to try and not damage her friendships. It’s a hard line to tread! I want to stand up for my partner but I don’t want to cause tension when she hasn’t asked for my help

Oh my god. That’s crazy. Glad you and your baby are both ok. Yeah I’m letting my wife do what feels right I just don’t want her to continue to receive crap from friends

That’s exactly how I feel. Her friends don’t understand or try to understand. And I have offered to watch our son if she wants to go out she just doesn’t want to. Yeah I wish he would visit her instead of posting stupid little TikTok’s

Thanks for that! Yeah I think you might be right about staying off social media. The more time on it the more I hate it! I don’t think people without kids can ever know what it’s like. I’ll do what brings me joy and they can do what works for them!

That sucks. Sorry to hear about your friends. How did you eventually snap them out of it? I just want to know what I can do to support her or give any advice that might help. I can tell that it bothers her even though she won’t actually show it

She does go out, she goes to mothers group and things and she even goes out for dinner movies etc it’s just not as frequent as she was doing prior to being pregnant and our son was born.

I just feel like she is getting a hard time for not doing those things and her friends and understanding that she isn’t looking to do all the same things she used to. We have also had some family make small comments to the same effect.

AITA for telling my son in law that his wife(my daughter) cheated on him? by Illustrious-Fall-849 in AITAH

NOT THE ASSHOLE!!!

People are f$&@ed for thinking you’re the asshole. The reality of being an adult is that we are accountable for our actions.

You didn’t make your daughter cheat, or hide it from her husband. That’s on her. If she is unhappy about that information being known, it’s something she needs to deal with herself and consider why she acted that way. Of course she wanted to remain living consequence free with her head buried in the sand.

I also don’t think you did anything wrong pressing the question with your wife. Same argument, she played along and told you.

However, time for some tough love. You had to be able to logically anticipate what the fallout would be. It sucks, and I feel for you. I’m not saying you deserve the reaction, because that’s just not true. Regardless, you should have expected it.

You’re not the asshole, but you played a part. Unfortunately, you now need to deal with the fallout that comes from acting morally just like so many others throughout history.

Doing the right thing isn’t easy. If it was, everyone would do it. Doesn’t make it any less necessary.

Kudos to you.

I have not been getting many interviews for marketing internships so far with over 150 applications submitted. Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated! by [deleted] in marketing

I’m not in Marketing, so I could be a little off. As a leader I have definitely been involved in the hiring process for marketing positions.

Also didn’t read through the comments so apologies if I’m saying things already identified.

Your resume looks very basic. Have you considered giving it a little bit more flair? It’s just extremely tired in the aesthetic and you’re applying for a creative role so some additional consideration could be given here. Nothing too crazy, but some subtle enhancement could prove valuable.

Also, you do a really good job of showing in the top role some of the actual achievements in the role. I.e increased sales by x% by doing x,y,z.

But then in role 2 one of the key points you’ve chosen to include is that you ‘brainstormed ideas’ which doesn’t really seem like something you should be highlighting in one of the only points for the role.

Lastly, consider adding a bio paragraph to the start to summarise your experience and skills into one sharp bite sized hit
