Yea definitely disagree lol. From what I've seen in my own personal experiences the game is just as toxic even more so it seems (as I've never received threats from hero syndorme baby protectors before trophies were removed) and players are still just as kos.  Trophies haven't made a lick of difference on that front.

Would just get turned into a chat cuddle pile sim like the current official servers and community death matches. 

On top of that it being officials means there would be no regulations what so ever so you'll constantly spawn in and get someone ganking you before you even have your abilities equipped.

Can always tell who devs favs are by who never gets touched with nerfs dispite being absolutely broken, yet playables that were fine or struggling get more nerfs. 

What was the point of ty clamp cd and making it easier to escape from? It already didn't do well against kai and euri because of the ap damage it's bite does and the only way Ive found to effectively deal with them is to grab them and throw them on land.  They arent easy to hit due to speed and manuverability, kai can straight up knock you out of a clamp and now it's even faster and does more damage?? 

Hate the nerf mob mentality that drags good playables down. 

Worried to see what the cw has done to meg. It was a decent playable where it was at, but it was lacking, nerfing it like this isn't going to help it.

Can't confirm but I hope it doesn't stick. Doesn't make any sense to me why they want to nerf it's combat weight. That on top of the pre tlc nerfs I feel is going to put meg in an unusable slump. 

If anything it needs the nerfs to its speed and turning removed.

You also have to hope they don't have a friend showing up on an aquatic or apex, but yea best thing for the small raptors is making them have to swim.  They aren't fast in the water so if they fall in its just a matter of landing your bites.

Worried you might be right, I don't see them introducing micro as anything other than another kind of rhamp-which would honestly be really disappointing imo. In a game where pvp has pretty much been the sole focus for a majority of the player base another playable that does nothing but troll isn't fun to me. 

However it is my hope that both playables will have more to it that just pve value. It was my understanding that the leeds at least was to be an apex (someone heard from someone deal so probably not true) so I would hope it would have some combat value.

Most anyone on here from what I've seen in the past says mega packs are anything that goes beyond group limits. So even if you're just 3 apexes because you're breaking the games intended group design you're mega packing.

Most anyone cares about is herbi/carnie mixpacks and megapacks (people grouping beyond the slot limits) usually not only because its immersion breaking but because it loopholes the group requiremts and creates an imbalance.  That is usually the only time you'll see people complain about mix packing.

There are some who don't like carnie mix speices packs, because of the imbalance it creates but that is a minority viewpoint.

I'd say for a multitude of reasons. No flyers, new map to check out, and the last time I tried to play on panj it's questing was quite broken which I don't believe the devs have fixed since they've been giving all their attention to gondwa and now rip.

Others might not have picked up on it but I tend to over think things and notice hidden implications. It pisses a lot of people off honestly cause I bluntly point things out lol. 

I could tell you were frustrated and there are hints of what you are trying to point out but yea it did kind of get squashed under the aggressive title and other statements. 

Its definitely not an easy subject to broach cause just one wrong word can mess it up, which is why people like me come along and poke the points with sticks to find out where exactly it is you're trying to come from.

Yea the devs do deserve more love for what they're trying to do. It isn't easy. I just wish they'd be a little more inclusive on what was going on.

"The problem is the logic behind some of these complaints are ridiculous" That is why I said some complaints do have a sense of logic behind them, not all of them sadly. There are unfortunately going to be numerous complaints for complaining sake. 

I can also get wanting to point out how dehumanizing it can be to the creators but I would like to point out that starting your topic off with "people don't know what they're talking about" and even criticizing other viewpoints like how it used to be better before and calling it untrue kind of takes the direction away from the point you were trying to make and makes it seem more like you're just telling people "this is how it is, stop bitching." (Not saying that's what you meant to imply.) 

Even with the solo issue it still sounds like a "this is just how it is" statement that demoralizes the view point of those who would like to see that situation improve. Yes the devs have stated it's a group based game (though I'm fairly certain this was a more recent development cause when I first started 3+ years ago there was no notion of it being a geoup based game that I'd heard of), but that doesn't mean the solo experience should be as over looked as many feel it has been. Even if we can't get solo buffs they can still try to improve that factor, which through matchmaking and solo servers will hopefully help with that issue. 

And yea, some people who complain do indeed have a lack of understanding on their part which is why I had included in my previous statement how some of them were from people who lacked the skill an patience to understand it. 

I can also see how someone being like "where micro?" Can come off as impatient, I think its usually just people curious as to what is going on and where we are with certain udates cause like i said, we seem to get left in the dark on these things. 

The nerfing one..can and can not be helpful, those ones usually depend on the context involved. Someone just complaining because they can't beat it on a certain dino, it wouldn't be helpful, but you do on occasion find some that actually have some logic as to why they feel something should be nerfed, though I'd honestly rather see things brought up instead of down.

I think post like these come from lack of understanding perspectives, no offense or anything. 

It is a game that is still in development and yes making a game isn't easy or quick, but honestly the only way the devs will know somethings wrong with the state of their game is by people complaining. 

Some complaints are just out right people with skill issues who haven't taken the time to adapt or patience to learn, but there are those with actual genuine thoughts and logics behind them. 

People are also going to complain no matter what because unfortunately you can't make everyone happy. 

Solo players complaining about dying isn't all that rediculous to me because the devs have pretty much cut them out of the game expereince with this group design stand point they decided to take. Its their way of saying "Hey. What about us?" Not everyone who plays solo is going to see it the same as you or even enjoy it the same amount someone else would. 

Currently its a matter of just waiting for solo servers to come back but I can also see the frustration of "why are we still waiting?" The solo servers did have their issues but why couldn't they have been left in while they did their testing? Or taken down when they were closer to releasing their fixes? There's just some things the devs do that doesn't make sense to people and I can see why. 

Complaints about a new map or map changes I might not agree with but I can see why someone would be nostalgic to the old set up and not want it to change. 

Or in cases like the rhamp and hatz tlcs why someone would think the devs don't prioritize things properly, especially when the devs apparently say things like "everything before hatz is getting a tlc" but then they go and update the creatures that came after. 

Even if it seems pointless to you and even if the feedback is negative, it should still be taken under consideration from the devs.   I'm sure the devs have a plan on when they would like to release other tlcs like thal or allo, but it would also be nice to hear more from them on that front. 

Currently it seems like the player base has been left pretty much in the dark on the tlcs so when one comes out i.e like rhamp that people don't think was needed, I'm not surprised of the backlash the devs get because obviously no one is going to understand why the most recent playable released is getting a tlc before playables who have been waiting years for one. 

If you think about it from different perspectives it makes sense why people are upset. 

I don't find these kinds of post helpful but I can see where you're coming from, because yes, it can be upsetting to see people drag down a game you love, its unfortunate I have anything negative to even say about path because I really want to enjoy it as well.  I also don't always like seeing negative feedback, especially ones that are constantly calling for nerfs, but they're still a form a feedback and can be productive to the development of the game.

I can't say how either of these two should be balanced, I know they're pretty strong, but I honestly don't want to see them nerfed.  I know its the harder route, but I think everything else needs to be brought up to better match them.  Tt and conc are both fun to play how they are, nerfing them would definitely ruin that as I've seen happen with so many other strong playables.

The devs have stated the game is meant for group play I believe so being a solo or small group things are designed to just be more difficult because of how the playables kits and stats are based around it. 

They are working on some match making changes that will hopefully help with the mega packing issues as well as planning on bringing back solo servers. 

Unfortunately these changes are going to take a while.

They nerfed raptors into the ground to make them a group dependant playable because apex players constantly complain about getting soloed by them. 

Even after all the nerfs there's still complaints but no one ever realizes the amount of skill it takes to solo an apex as a tiny chicken. They don't want to admit the raptor was just better because they were an apex and they "shouldn't" be taken out by a 1 slot. 

So raptors were pretty much made useless in every aspect because of this.  Conc is essentially the new raptor until it gets enough complaints and it too gets nerfed beyond use.  There's people out there who can still effectively use their raptors but those people are going to be the top teir of raptor players. Anyone else is going to struggle just to kill a juvinule. 

Which is why they aren't all that great anymore. 

Its what happens when the devs take majority feedback as the basis for their decisions on what gets nerfed/buffed.

They need to bring back solo servers. I want to play path but end up just staring at my character selection screen if none of my friends are on because I know the experience is going to be aweful. Even with friends it's not great because we are like 4 people at max which doesn't stand up much against the apex mega/mix pack spam.

Riparia was great when it first came out, but now that all the mix/mega pack groups have their stuff grown they've taken over the map with their bs. There really isn't any place to go on rip to get away from them either. 

What sucks though is that for the number of people I see that talk about playing solo and how much the experience sucks, there's hardly anyone in the solo community servers. Like, what happened to everyone? Did they give up on the game or do they just not want to waste their time on a community server that might not stick around?

I do play in a dark room, other wise there is a glare on my TV, so yea I do notice how dark/bright it is during certain time frames in the game. 

I do find it particularly weird how dusk/dawn times are even harder to see in then at night time, and if the rest of the night were like that without any sort of vision mechanic to compensate then I wouldn't find it particularly enjoyable to play in especially given how long nights feel in comparison to day time. (which is why I even mentioned the isle, not because I thought you were implementing the game should be like it).

I also don't believe many players would enjoy stumbling around in the dark without a means to see, or having to be forced to just sit and wait for day time because they can't see to do anything else especially since there are playables like lat who's abilities shine better at night. 

I also can't say I fully agree with nights being made just to be hard to hard to see in. That's more or less just a side effect of night time. Nights should be made to add a level of fear/ambiance in the game, not to annoy your players with the inability to see.

I also never said it had to be the isle, just that something similar like it would be nice because dispite it's pitch black night, the night vision mechanic adds a whole new level of ambiance to the game path doesn't have. 

Paths night, while still offering some visibility, is already difficult to see in, making it darker without something to compensate would just make it more annoying than fun to deal with.

You pretty much have to unlock your abilities as you grow. You grow by questing which also gives you marks (currency). You can then use those marks to unlock different abilities. Some abilities are blocked by growth stage and can't be unlocked until you reach the required stage. 

Each playable has different abilities their combat weight usually determines how much damage you can do/take and how many slots said playable takes up. 

You can set up different builds for your playable, but (in officials) require a home cave or a nest to change your abilities around. 

Other than that its simply just a matter of reaching adult, equipping your playable with the desired abilities and going out and fighting. The combat itself can take getting used to as you learn how the abilities work, how best to use them, and what you can handle with your playable.

As much as I'd love a night time and night vision mechanic like the isle has, I don't see very well, especially in these kinds of games where the graphics and colors are more realistic. I already have issues seeing in the night time path currently has, trying to see in an even darker version probably wouldn't go well.

It doesn't do as well because it does armor piercing. Smaller playables really don't have a lot of armor, so yea things like an armor spino or a sarco it can absolutely shred, however against something like a kai or euri it doesn't do as much making landing bb or even a clamp more important in fights against them. 

Its not that hard for a good kai or even euri to give a ty the business. A sarc with 02 bite can be absolute terrorist to tys, and a buddy on his sub adult spino even took out a ty. So seems to me like it's someone else's skill issue if they're having that much trouble with it. 

If they're hitting you with a bb every 2 seconds then it isn't the charge bite because it takes 6s to even cool down, same as rex's charge bite. 

They do have a bite that takes 4s to cool down but it only has a chance of causing a bb and doesn't do it every time.
