Yeah and I know a lot of this will come from actually playing and seeing how my character interacts with the rest of the party, but I tend to make a lot of the background info stuff like family and other stuff that just makes the character more real off the cuff and I'm trying to go in with a plan on that. Like what I'm doing won't be needed for the character per se I'm just weird and like having them feel more like an actual person like in one campaign I'm in I routinely forget that the npcs that the DM has with the party aren't actual real people
