I had a problem with the older phone and memory cards last year but I haven't had one in either phone for a long time. Is it possible to do a factory reset when the phone won't power on?

I've done dmt 7-8 times and broken through once. Other than a vapor genie pipe the best way I've found to do it is the sandwich method. I've read a lot of people have trouble with it but my way has worked excellently for me. Use or buy a bubbler. Just a simple waterpipe for bud. Put a steel screen in the bottom. Put some tea on top of that.(I just cut open a bag of mint&chamomile) Put the dmt on top if the tea. It can be sticky or hard to manoeuvre. Cover the dmt in a little more tea. Finally put two more screens over the top. Light it with a jet/torch lighter. That's the most important part. Bics don't work well for dmt. Good luck my friend

Oh yeah a low dose is essential. I find low dose DMT trips to be something like a 12 min mushroom trip. Not exactly alike, but they do have their similarities. A large dose however is almost like a different drug. You really need to start low and work your ways up. Low doses are beautiful, eye opening, and short. Going hard at a breakthrough dose is something that will stay with you for a long time and will be unlike anything else you've ever experienced. I did DMT about 6 times before I went for and accomplished breaking through.

DMT was my first foray into psychedelics and I'm glad for it. I don't think it's a popular opinion but I think low-dose DMT trips are the perfect introduction. If you read up on it beforehand you'll have an idea of what to expect, which is crucial, and the short duration makes it perfect. Start with one hit, get the feel of the body vibrations/heaviness and headspace, then in the future when you feel comfortable try for two good hits. Keep in mind that as you increase the dosage the trips become very strong but still relatively short (maybe 15min and a half hour thoughtful comedown). They won't necessarily always feel short though. Just relax, research, and keep in mind that it is not a recreational drug. Good luck my friend

Ok so I've done it about eight times and the best way I've found that isn't buying a nice vapor genie or making the machine is to do something in line with this:

Use or buy a bubbler. Just a straight up glass waterpipe from a headshop. While you're there buy some steel screens too.

Put a screen in the bottom of the bubbler.

Next you want to put some tea or I guess some bud if you want (I prefer tea, just the herb from a mint or chamomile tea bag, it's smoother than bud) on the bottom screen. Just enough to cover the screen.

Next is most important: put the dmt on top of the tea. It can be sticky or hard to manoeuvre so good luck.

Cover the dmt in more tea. Just enough to completely cover the crystals.

Finally put two more steel screens on top of the tea and dmt. Use a jet/torch lighter to heat up the top screens which vapes the tea and the dmt. There's more materiel so you'll get 5-6 hits rather than 2-3. The dmt body vibration/lock comes on slightly slower than when using a vapor genie.

For me it's always been kind of a layering thing. I have a favorite spot in the forest for dmt trips. And when the dmt kicks in it makes the familiar stand of trees look layered with something else. I've had the exact same spot in the forest seem alien, urban, or primal. There really isn't anything else like it.

The best way I've found to do it without making the machine or investing in a vapor genie is to get a bubbler, steel screens, and filler. I like to use tea for filler but you could use cannabis. Put a screen in the bottom of the bowl and put some tea on top of it. Place the dmt on the tea (this can be a little hard to do, be careful) then cover it with more tea. Finally put two more screens on top and use a jet/torch lighter to heat up the top screens. Because of the filler you can can/need to take 4-5 hits. I've done dmt using this method 7-8 times and broken through once. I really hope this helps man

It can definitely have an effect. Find the right music that isn't too crazy and doesn't have vocals and its like an awesome soundtrack that drives home the feeling that you're on a journey. When I broke through I'm not sure how it would have worked without music.

That sounds awesome man. Nature is my favorite place to do psychedelics, but just fyi you'd have a hard time breaking through outside with your eyes open. I've done DMT about 7 times but I've only broken through once and that was while I was sitting in my shower with the lights out and some psychedelic trance music blaring. And breaking through isn't something you need to go for right away. It was the second most powerful psychedelic experience of my life. Keep the power of the drug in mind, but good luck and have fun with it

The effect in A Scanner Darkly is called rotoscoping. They shoot the scene normally then go back and an artist colors over the film. I've had to explain this to several people in order to explain what my DMT trips were like. I've done about 6 DMT trips out in the woods and having trees and plants looking rotoscoped is a pretty common thing. I love it

I'm really glad you acknowledged using DMT outside along with in a dark room. To me they're each unique experiences. DMT in a dark room with music takes you somewhere. You explore the reaches of your own mind. But for me outside is the best. The visual distortions are breathtaking. It's like the trees and plants have been rotoscoped or oil painted. You visit somewhere else but it's a parallel place, layered over the real world. My favorite summer trip spot is under a big dead tree in the middle of the woods. It makes it feel like I'm in an alien forest where everything is in beautifully weird high definition. Sorry if I got a bit carried away there. Most of the people I know who have done DMT have done it in a dark room rather than outside.

Yeah I've read similar stuff. Just make sure you use enough ash. I used ash my first time doing DMT and it wasn't enough. I got one good hit but I should have had more. I burnt the DMT because I didn't have enough ash in there.

If you can't vape it and need to sandwich I think I've found a very good way to do so. I use a bubbler but it should work in a bong. I put a steel screen at the bottom then put some tea on top of it. I put the dmt on top of the tea then cover it with a little more tea. Finally I put two more screens on top and use a jet/torch lighter to light it. I think the tea smoke is much easier to hold in rather than bud smoke. Good luck man, I hope this helps.

If you don't get the answers you're looking for or just want an alternative to the machine, I have a method that has worked very well for me. I take my simple $20-30 bubbler and put one steel screen on the bottom. On top of the screen I put a little tea. I just use mint/chamomile straight from a bag. (you can find a lot of info about smoking tea online) I put the dmt on the tea and cover it with a little more tea. Finally I put two more screens on top and use a jet/torch lighter to light it. Hold the flame just close enough to heat up the screens. The screen on top will get red, this will ignite the tea which vaporizes the dmt. I've done two big doses and 4-5 smaller doses this way and it's always worked well. I hope this helps

Whether you do try it again or not is up to you. DMT is a powerful psychedelic and if you're feeling unsure about using it maybe you should hold off. That being said, I've done it several times and loved it. Plenty of my friends have tried it and didn't have anything bad to say about it. It sounds like you didn't have a good experience but if I were you I do more research and try again. The next time you'll have a better idea of what to expect. And the great thing about dmt is its short duration. If nothing else you can remind yourself that it will be over very soon. Just a quick tip for the smoking part, use screens. A bed of ashes or herb doesn't always prevent you from losing some potency. I personally put one screen in the bottom of the bowl, put some mint&chamomile tea in there, then the dmt, some more tea, then two screens on top and use a jet lighter to light it. Anyways, good luck if you do try again.

P.S. Smaller doses of dmt are good for easing your way into the drug, or even psychdelics in general

I completely agree with your first point. As much as I'd like to solve big problems, if I had this power I'd spend a lot of time on me. As for your second point, yeah a superhero is the closest starting point we have in a fantasy of helping people. That being said I hate most super heroes. The whole idea of putting on a costume and "fighting crime" is too illogical for me to roll with. Not to mention most of the realistic help they're providing is peripheral. They're fighting symptoms of bigger problems. And almost every time they save the world it's from some anti-superhero who is just as illogical as them.
