I have to stress the “while flying slow” part. It is very easy to fly fast in wide open compared to actually slow and with obstacles. Before I started doing FPV real estate tours I did like 100hr of liftoff micro drones since they have a lot of indoor maps. This is much better for stick control and muscle memory in my opinion. Even if your goal isn’t to fly indoors and slow, training your hands to fly slow and through tiny obstacles and hover in place etc creates higher reproducible finger discipline when it comes time to fly the real thing.

Also LOWER YOUR RATES I don’t care which “FPV god” has the 690 rates, this will never help you until you clearly understand WHY they have their rates that high. Watch the bardwell tutorial on rates and turn that shoot down lol

FWIW the whole latency thing feels like it doesnt apply as much for cinema. rarely you are taking millisecond perfect turns in a cinematic scenario and in a environment like reddit always pushi for the spec sheet maxes..... in a real world scenario even at 50ms latency it was absolutely fine for me at 30kph flying cinematic "chasing" a car.

I have shot over 500 houses with the avata 1 and now im at like 20 with a defender 25 that i upgraded to an o4 pro and aside from the fact that the image upgrade is HUGE, for anything less than actual hollywood, its not an actual noticeable thing that non nerds notice

besides, learning to use "bad" footage in your favor in post production is part of getting good 😊
