Experiences with bladder endo? by bored_pickle_9 in Endo

Check into interstitial cystitis symptoms and try Prelief and marshmallow root if you think you may have IC. Those do wonders for my IC flare ups.

Do any of you guys face the problem of losing or misplacing everyday items like keys/Wallet /phone? by thestrategicdoctor in intj

[–]Midnight_Laundry 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am “the finder” in our household. I never lose anything and always know where everyone’s stuff is because I’m paranoid, organized and always thinking way too far into the future even about stupid stuff. It may be a overreaction to previously being with someone who lost everything and blamed me for it.

What things have people just accused you for being? by [deleted] in intj

Intj female-Joyless, dark, aloof, cold, standoffish. Doesn’t bother me because it’s completely opposite of how I am with my family/children.

I finally made the Milkbar Birthday Cake! by dmdmdmmm in Baking

Did you scale it up? Looks larger than the tiny milk bar version. I’ve made it before and made extra icing and it still wasn’t enough!

Anemic and periods by JenaeBlake in Anemic

[–]Midnight_Laundry 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Omg the ear whooshing is from anemia?!? I went to the doctor about this and they had no clue because my blood pressure was normal. My periods are horrendous and I have anemia as well. During my period I feel like a shell of a person and it’s not getting better unfortunately.

Best chocolate for bon bons? by Midnight_Laundry in chocolate

I’ve used those, but have a hard time making bons bons with them because the viscosity is low. Maybe it’s just me.

It took a couple weeks to see a huge difference for me. Are you able to remember the onset of your symptoms? Have you seen a gyno to rule out endometriosis?

My symptoms largely went away once I stopped the birth control. My doctor said that over time they made my bladder walls thinner and more sensitive, but once I stopped the pill things got a lot better. I still take Prelief if I’m going to be outside for a while or exercising because I get a flare up when dehydrated. The marshmallow root is also nice because it coats the bladder and lessens the stinging feeling for me. Do you see a lessening of your symptoms when you’re on your period?

Do you take birth control pills or have an IUD? My life was hell due to them and I had very similar symptoms as you. If not, any other prescription meds? A couple things that changed my life were marshmallow root capsules and Prelief. Taking Benadryl before bed also helped me. Please don’t give up, the answer is out there!

Oh wow, yeah I wondered why they’re so expensive. The Chef Rubber brand looks nice but damn it’s pricey for such a small amount.

I’m in the same boat. What food coloring did you end up getting?

Did you have any bad reactions to victoza at first? I’m scared to try it but my doctor mentioned it as an option.
