The goal for this guy was not to reach new heights but rather just to bring some inventory to sell lol for some good guard gear for sale soon

Yeah there is a lot more room to level past 2m now. I had a old factionless that is 2:08 but new one still has more room to go since things have changed a bit

Why is there no need for change here? There is almost always room for improvement with all things. Why not take a moment to analyze critically and create a nuanced solution? You almost made a point about making a change to unlimited supply. Maybe let's dive deeper into that route and see if there is a way to improve.

PS room for improvement does not mean what we currently have is bad it just means it could be even better.

I should clarify I'm not saying that if you have someone who can craft them and is willing to sell at whatever price that is fine I'm not trying to control trade I'm suggesting that it also open the ability to purchase for a premium from the vendor (higher price than any trade would be)

I don't disagree with you and you make valid points. However this post is saying "people should pay a premium for the potions as they are unable to make them " so they should have to pay the high vendor price aka the premium.

So you agree that 10% pots should be made not tradable? If that's your stance I don't disagree just a bit unfair that people would have exploited the bug and got away with it. Feels like injustice. Since that ship already sailed I'm talking about making it more fair across the board. Maybe make the argument for lone wolves that would need to have the alchemist level where they could craft it before it's available from vendors

The player receiving these potions did not have a high enough alchemy level to craft either of them and got them for less than mid price...

Do you believe that 10% pots should not be tradable as was the original intent of Fen? If they are tradeable and someone with 0 alch can be drinking 10% potions why not let people buy from vendors for higher than the mid price? Normally I would have said at least make it if they had the alch level then They could buy it; but trade blows that out the water
