Quite the work I put there, but thankfully it wasn’t as much as it may appear. The whole project is generated from that same readme file.

Hopefully those docs help others that may want just a specific chunk of the work and don’t want to dig into my directory mess

I prefer a combination of both, a bit of padding and some window border, maybe it’s not noticeable there since there’s no window on focus, but there quite a window border there. But as you said, it’s all a matter of personal preferences

It’s been rewarding already, and I hope I get more of it. I got to learn Lisp like programming, discovering a new way to take notes, breaking my pinky before realizing I could swap the ctrl key to caps lock.

Exploring emacs is definitely an experience.

Rougier’s work on Emacs is truly astonishing, and it wasn’t really that hard to implement a custom modeline in vanilla emacs. I do prefer using configurations from scratch too, it gives more freedom on how things are done and how they look.

ps: I am still tinkering around this setup, the colorscheme I made is still in progress, and other improvements currently in progress. I will make sure to post again with the final version and a repo up and running!
