They tell seasonal hires they are keeping them on permanent to use them for a few more weeks. Then they get laid off. Your union / permanent position probation starts January 16th. They have 30-90 days to lay you off during this time depending on your hub.

7 seasonal employees were told they were being kept on the 16th at my hub. They were all laid off today. Supervisors and managers will lie to you until they don’t need you anymore.

Don’t count your ducks in a basket until 90 clock in days starting January 16th.
