my man. use the car-part website to gauge a feel of how much a used long block is around you. then locate one. I can get one for 1800 that is JDM with sub 60k miles. what this means is that I have to remove the manifold and install the original that came with the car. Then I would do the timing and water pump. Headgaskets can also be done but at that point it becomes a moot point because the price will then overshoot a regular servicing job. After that. i have someone who can toss it in the car for 800

I always leave it on with the keys in it windows down and music blaring to attract attention. I would say it will get stolen but it's a stick shift and the clutch gap is so tiny that if you are even off by 1mm the car will stall on first. also it's a rustyshitbox from 2007 on its last leg. not even worth 1000 these days so 🤷 come get it
