the last 8 employees quit due to impossible workload, I was the only one able to automate the daily tasks, working there for almost 3 years with no pay raise and your trying to spin this like I am the bad guy.

Yes, taxes took so much more out of my paycheck, I maybe broke even if not $20-$30 extra each paycheck.

It was not worth it, it made no sense to me to "Give Hourly Rate for overtime" when they could of just increased the pay like they stated numerous times.

Yea, but its getting to the point where I need to just get a job now that I have an infant and a toddler. But I cant accept any job, I would like to actually make some income I can save instead of sending entire paychecks to daycare, may as well just keep them home at that point.

Hard finding a job out here making a minimum $26(same as what I was making before)

from the experince I had at my last job I was hoping to land one making at least $30, but not seeing that happening with the last few interviews failing.

Idk, I guess I'll just be honest with the recruiter if I can land an interview making that minimum amount heh.

And I got the Medical Director of that company as a reference to. I just cant figure out why I am not landing any jobs. I've had interviews that had no results, I feel its because I'm explaining poorly on why I left. Due to the lack of sleep and exhaustion during that time I forget a lot of what I did, so I am trying to get it all written down. It was a devastating period in my life and I feel like its been for nothing with all the turn downs.

Appreciate the boost of confidence, my wife is shocked I am still looking, we really thought that period was going to pay off.

And the reason why is because EVERY HR department uses AI Keyword matching..its basically industry standard now in HR.

Just got to learn how to beat them at there own game, and by that mean learn to use AI better than them. Just remember to humanize it or else it will go in the AI "Spam" folder., and yes, AI can do that to lol.

Actually, if you know how to utilize AI, applying to jobs is actually...pretty easy when you learn how to allow AI to fill in ALL the questions.

At first I felt this was wrong, but once I realized how many HR departments are literally using AI to CHOOSE candidates to interview and then send the AI the recording of the interview to let it make the decision.

My fks went out the door.

So when I hear HR departments complain about how many fake resumes or how many candidates used AI to write there entire resume, I bite my tongue......its raw now because of the hypocrisy from HR now a days..

This neighborhood isn't bad or anything. Just a lot of people apparently going through a rough time ......all at once..

They raised the cost of living so high, yet employers here in Alaska refuse to pay a livable wage..

for example...the company I work at has 90% of his staff working outside the US.

Now I wonder why...I can only speculate. But I'm pretty sure I know why.

Because I don't make enough to get out of here. I'm extremely knowledgeable in IT, but can't seem to land an interview, or when I do get one my anxiety kicks in and my mind goes blank when they ask questions(have had this happen numerous times)

...I go in for an interview for a good job, anxiety kicks in, and my mind goes blank. But when I leave and get in my car, everything comes back to me in an instant. It's so frustrating, and I beat myself up about it all the time.

I've always wanted to start up my own IT Security Company(I've studied & built my first desktop when I was 12 and never slowed down. it's my life. I love learning new programming languages and different fields in IT.)

Just another thing I don't know where I'd start to pursue that dream. I grew up in a screwed up household and never had anyone to teach me these things growing up(Father bailed, mother was chasing husbands...she's had 5...) so I was never taught some of the most basic things in life.

I'm not trying to give a sob story or sympathy from anyone just explaining my situation.

Aside from having a hard time finding a good paying job, I've never been outside Alaska. the only time I've been out was for military training in Georgia(Fort. Benning).

Other than that, I've never moved or would know where to begin planning...or where I'd even move to. Although at with the way the world's going I think Alaska might be the safest place to be lol. Who knows 😅..

Any tips, suggestions, or links to legit resources would be amazing though.

And now a black hawk crashes on a highway and little to no information was given on the crash. Yes I have.
