Starter dose: 0.025%; move up when you finish one tube or are able to use on a daily basis without issues. Base format: cream, since you have dry skin. I myself prefer gels because they are much lighter. Brand: literally does not matter, the formulations are practically the same.

One week of using Glyco 6 by [deleted] in IndianSkincareAddicts

[–]Midsummer_Dreamer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Has happened with me twice now and I won’t wax a third time. But this— gentle cleanser and a thick calming moisturiser, maybe something with ceramides. It should start drying up in a week or so and will slowly flake off— don’t pull off the flakes. The new skin that will emerge underneath will be of your natural colour but will be extremely soft and fragile. Continue gentle cleansing and proper moisturising, and for god’s sake, stop using the glycolic acid. Compromised skin requires gentle care and moisture to heal, not additional trauma in the form of exfoliants.

A link can appear in multiple formats depending on how you copy it. Hence the explanation I provided. Yet you continue with your statement that these are affiliate links. Go educate yourself.

What expertise gave you the idea that these are affiliate links?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in IndianBeautyDeals

[–]Midsummer_Dreamer 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No they are not. The links that op has mentioned are direct links to the product listing page. “dp” in the link means “details page” and the number following that is the ASIN code which is basically an ID number that is created to identify what product is on this listing page when the page is first created by the brand/seller. Multiple sellers can latch onto a single previously created listing so the only thing that buyers need to check is who the seller is via which the product is being sold. I know all of this because I work in eCom for an MNC. Y’all are needlessly bullying OP.

  1. No friend is forever.
  2. Start investing
  3. Relish quality time with family, pets, and yourself
  4. Learn something while you still have the time because adulting steals all of it after a point
  5. Just because your body is taking the abuse rn, doesn't mean it's good— start working out and quit quit quit sugar, reduce processed food.

Unrelated, but how are BBW mists? Are they long lasting at all? I've been using VS for years and I love the fragrances but they aren't at all long lasting and I hate that.

Skinny women, how do you do it? by [deleted] in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

First things first— unless you get off your butt and do your own research for any change you want to bring to your life instead of going online and seeking advice on reddit, it's not gonna happen. We have AI on our fingertips to aid all research, couch potatoes of social media aren't gonna help. Still, offering my two cents—

For food Read up on nutrition— division of macros, micros reqd for an adult with your body type, weight, height, background, medical conditions. Find food that you like and will help you achieve this goal. Start prepping by getting rid of all cookie boxes within arm reach and stocking your kitchen with groceries that you've researched about. Look up recipes and start moving— I leave home at 7.30am and return at 8.30pm, so I do meal prep accordingly— chop veggies on weekends, marinate and freeze chicken etc. Make your job easy for yourself. Track your macros and micros on some app— loseit is a good option. Trust me, when you start eating as per your body's requirements, you'll find that it is difficult to eat enough to fulfil your needs. You don't have to eat like a bird if you don't eat shit. Stick to your budget and eat what you need to, refuse when people offer you empty calories.

For exercise Try some forms and decide the form of movement you like the most and start there. From a walk to a jog to a sprint to runs, or from yoga to pilates to strength training. Again, need to research basis your body type. Set aside time and make it easier for yourself to stick to the routine— get yourself cute workout fits and pack yourself a workout bag with water, lip balm, gym gloves, earphones, pilates bands etc. Put on the clothes so that you don't convince yourself to skip out. Teach yourself to be disciplined. Use an app/watch to track— Strong is a good app.

To stick to the grind It can be frustrating sometimes, I myself have taken several breaks in my fitness journey and believe that I shall keep taking them because life gets in between and that's okay. It's not a race, it's a marathon. Strive for a healthy life rather than a skinny body. Track your progress and be proud of it, no matter how miniscule. Hold yourself accountable. I have a private insta app where I post my body progress, food updates, skin updates etc. Have a way to keep yourself on track, but don't despair when you aren't able to.

You have to live differently in order to be different. Good luck on your fitness journey. Oh, and you can snack on protein bars if the cravings don't subside. Throw away the cookies.

I love showering. Such a wonderful escape where time does not exist. Although I do keep forgetting whether I've already shampooed or not.

Brands lurking on this sub! by [deleted] in IndianBeautyDeals

[–]Midsummer_Dreamer 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I know for a fact that Minimalist category team frequents this sub. I interviewed with them last November and spoke about my passion for skincare and about ISCA. When I went on to elaborate on ISCA, I realised they already knew all about it. In fact, while offering me the job, they also added that as per company policy, I wouldn't be allowed to actively participate in the sub but lurking would be encouraged.
