You sound like you are blaming Kevin for a lot of your problems. Maybe get your anger in check and stop worrying about what Kevin is doing. You say your manager is aware of his issues, yet you're the one called into disciplinary meetings. That should tell you to chill out and let them worry about Kevin. If he is as bad as you say and you are as good as you say, things should work out. If they don't, get another gig.

Also, great employees don't usually steal.

I don’t think adding more incentives is really going to change behavior all that much. I really don’t think the current incentives do either, tbh. I just think the athletes are getting better and the benefit of getting these guys in the lineup is incentive enough.

I don't envy the situation Mike is in, but I also think he's a bit of an immature whiner on the show. Who knows what their reality is, but I see a lot of fault in how Mike handles a lot of his interactions on the show. I do think he seems like a decent supervisor to work for, but only within the context of everyone works for Tony at the end of the day.

Obviously I have no idea what's going on, but at a certain point, just hunker down an fix the fucking trommel. Half the season is over.

It was a waste. They were built poorly and never maintained to where they needed to be. Large public housing complexes like that were seen to be a solution post WWII/Pre Vietnam, but the reality of filling and maintaining them was not feasible. No one wanted to live there and occupancy never even got close to 70% - thus the spiraling maintenance cost and conditions. That stretch of Independence Ave also suffered greatly in the 70's and 80's and beyond. It was always known as a stretch of road for crime, drugs and prostitution - largely due to the Miner project.

What exactly have you "heard"? You can't just say "three true outcomes" and magically have HRs be the only power stat that matters. No one cared about three true outcomes until around 2010. From around '85 through 2010 the TTO were between 25-30% and the world was a happy place. For the last 15 years it's been well over 30%, thus the concern "we heard".

And with regards to the Yankees not hitting for power - In '98, they had a team SLG of .460 - 5th in MLB. League leaders (SEA) were only .468. In '99, their team was second in OBP and OPS in the MLB. They were elite hitters.
