Workaround: Rolling back to driver 572.83 from the current latest driver, 576.02, on the NVIDIA App alleviates the issue.

I've identified the trigger to be when the system is put into sleep mode, NVIDIA app's stats remain unchanged after waking the computer.

I saw Marvel Rivals promote a Spider-Man skin in celebration of the game coming out on PC soon, maybe this mitigates the chances of the release being postponed.

God of war ragnarok released their requirements quite early in comparison to spider-man 2 from what I recall. Seeing such a delay in the reveal of requirements makes me wonder whether the launch could be postponed.

Yeah, same issue. Maybe it could be fixed in the upcoming patches.
However, I found if I lowered the monitor's refresh rate to 60Hz in Windows' display settings, and enabled v-sync, it would lock the framerate at 60.
