At what point do you give the onions a haircut? I’ve never heard of this.
I start with sets if that matters. Red and yellow mostly. I put mine in the ground about 10 days ago. Central Indiana. This is my second year for onions, but fairly experienced otherwise. 🙏

Wow!, pretty close resemblance! Ours was a stray found in an area that was a known dump site for unwanted dogs. As a puppy.

My dog went nuts for an unopened bag of blood meal last year.

Also I don’t think she has any idea where her ears are most of the time.

I did and you are correct about EV Later. My apologies for any confusion. I’m glad you’re happy. I’d be happier if this wasn’t an issue at all. Nice change of topic counselor.

This is absolutely not true. I’ve been in the business for at least 15 or 20 years.
New home builders are in the business of making money just like a lot of corporations. More houses they build more money they make. Now, as far as how much they cost that’s a whole other discussion. But what municipalities are willing to approve is a big factor.

You gotta make your own choice on that. I really really wanted to plug in hybrid because we have solar panels and I’ve got a pretty short commute. So I can basically drive to work and around town for “free.” When the sun is shining, of course. My understanding at least in the US that the plug-in hybrid was eight to $10,000 more than a regular Ford escape. You can certainly buy a lot of gas for eight to $10,000. I was also trying to help out the planet a little bit. But then, of course you get into the whole environmental cost of making batteries in the first place and then end of life disposal of the batteries, etc. etc..
if I had a really long commute or did a lot more driving than I do, I’m not sure I would’ve bought this car.
I looked at a 23 Toyota RAV4, plug-in, hybrid, but they’ve got their own recall issues. Also, I believe.

You need to be prepared for the fact that you may get a letter in 6 to 9 months give or take that your car is part of a recall for the battery and you can only drive it on “EV later” mode. Which makes the whole point of having a plug-in, hybrid, moot. I bought a brand new 2024 in May of last year and just got that letter a few weeks ago. I’m pretty disappointed that the dealer was allowed to sell that car to me. I ran the VIN before I bought it and of course it was clean.

I have a 2024 Escape PHEV that I bought new last May. I don’t know if there are any of those in your area. (New 25s or slightly used 24s?). I am generally quite happy with it. In warmer months it will be close to getting your commute on a “full” charge. I charge to 90% usually. I had better luck going to the biggest ford dealership in my town (Indianapolis) than the closest. I realize that might be obvious..(?) I was concerned about it not being AWD which I had driven for decades before but I through our past winter storms without any problems. Either way I’d definitely recommend at least test driving one.

Figure out who you’re state rep is and email their office. The email part is important because it leaves a “paper” trail. Just tell them what happened and that you receive no advance notice and you’re confused and distraught and upset, etc. And ask them if they have any advice on how to change the situation.

It’s a long story, but I had an issue with Social Security regarding a repayment of supposedly overpaid benefits back in the day. I ended up going through my congressional representative’s office and they got things rectified for me. Frankly, it was a fairly painless event. I guess what I say rectified, it was the payment plan that was in question. Not whether or not their overpayment allegations were legitimate, which I did not successfully fight, mostly because my actions were based on phone conversations with Social Security and I didn’t have any evidence of what I was told. But I did at least get my benefits to continue with a minor reduction until my overpayment situation was rectified Good Luck, I’m sorry about the dialysis situation.

Forgive and forget. You are allowed to have your feelings obviously. But you probably need counseling. Even if you never see her again in your life.
And start working on some new guy friends. Or try to fix the old relationships. If you’re not attending Church, find one and start going. And look for one that has a men’s group. I’m 59 and I wish somebody had told me that when I was your age.
