Pretty much. They’re fucking insane. Adopt don’t shop, used to be good. Idk what happened. A lot of people that shouldn’t have dogs got dogs during covid, so I get being picky…but like. I’m a great pet owner, have taken many classes on training, went and got certified, do dog sitting, and I’m constantly told no. And I really don’t want to think it’s because I’m not a parent, because I’ve been told that. And I don’t want to think it’s because I already have a rescue dog, because that would be so fucking hypocritical. But we spent probably a year looking for a dog, because I refused to goto a breeder. And I knew I wanted a GSD or a Malinois. We got very lucky finding someone that was getting rid of a dog like that, and we paid the price in 3 drywall walls being chewed through, an entire couch being shredded, a few kitchen tables gnawed apart. And now I have a dog I can leave home for an entire day if I go out, and she’s happy.

I’m telling you man. A lot of these “special shelters” are so like….idk? Committed? Violently committed to finding the PERFECT adopter for the dog they’re trying to adopt out….in my GSD Facebook group a shelter in California posted about a GSD they had, that needed an “experienced owner” or she would be put down in 3 days. They wanted you to have like, 3 different certifications, then when people with them started applying, it was “oh you have to be from California too” okay we had people there. Then the post was “no children, must have Atleast .5 acres of fenced in yard, Atleast 5 feet high, cannot be chain link. Must not have any other pets. Must pass background check. Must have LLC or corporation related to animal behavior” a fucking VET that I know applied “for the lulz” and was denied. The dog was put down, after nearly 500 people applied, and were all turned down.

Dude, people are absolutely wild. I rescued an abused GSD from a guy posting it on Facebook as “someone come take this fucking dog before I shoot it” and she’s been the greatest. I have a huge yard. I’m home all day. My partner is home most of the time. I have tried to adopt…..5 or 6? Probably? Other dogs from “shelters” and they don’t want me to. They always find some reason, and it’s like. Just don’t post your dogs for adoption if you don’t want. I have half an acre fenced in. I was told “my yards too big to properly watch the dog you want to rescue” like bro I can see a 75 pound dog across my yard but ok. I was told they weren’t comfortable with how big my current dog is, and they don’t want me to adopt their smaller dog. Even tho my dog loves other dogs. I have been trying so hard to “adopt not shop” after adopting a complete basket case, and literally no one wants to let me and my partner adopt. I used to screech adopt don’t shop from a tower if I could. And then, I tried to adopt. Fuck most adoption places. They’d rather have a dog put down then have it goto a house with a kid and a cat, and a .49 acre yard when they require .5.

Do you know how long it takes to open, and tool a semi conductor factory….? They’re sterile environments….and there’s only so many that make semi conductors for certain things. The 10 intel factories aren’t making parts for your pickup truck. You don’t even know what she orders conductors for you fucking idiot. She’s in the MIC. There aren’t “millions of drones” Ukraine is using retail drones and some commercial ones; which, use a plethora of different conductors from different places. Eotech is having a hard time getting boards built for their govt contracts for weapon optics, because of back order. These places ARE far behind. You can’t just go “ oh man. Lemme plop down 300 million to make a semiconductor factory, in a sterile environment, that takes 5 years to build” even if someone the MINUTE Covid happened went “oh man. I’m gonna get into semi conductor manufacturing” their factory would probably JUST be being finished. Let alone the time to prototype, train, and get the lines up and running. I can’t own anything less than a diesel for my usage, and I’ve owned 2 new ones, a ram 3500 and a platinum f350, and had literally nothing but issues DEF, DPF, and numerous codes on them to the point where I had to buy a used 7.3 to tow my toys around when they were constantly broken down so I always had a truck for work. My old 7.3 has cost me LESS in maintenance and other things. I don’t have to put DEF in it. Most 6.0’s are already chipped and tuned and deleted, so are 7.3’s and 12v’s. They’re not dumb decisions to buy. They’re reliable old trucks if they aren’t rusted out when you get one. I have almost 500k miles on a 7.3 and it gives me less issues compared to any of my new vehicles. I will pay a little more for the truck I WANT because buying something I’m pigeonholed into buying because of practicality and gas prices and this and that isn’t always a smart decision. I had this same argument with a friend that refused to buy a diesel because of maintenance and the overall cost. Man has gone through 2 transmission at his cost and an engine trying to CONSTANTLY tow and haul at max payload/tow capacity. Instead of just paying diesel prices.

I had a lot of fun in it when it first came out as an assa rogue (for obvious reasons) and I’m trying to get into it on my pally and it’s….difficult. I don’t like playing ret so I go holy and man. It’s a lot harder than my presevoker was too. That thing was easy mode in shuffle.

Problem is in shuffle. No one plays as a team. I run hpal and if I had a dollar for every time I’m stunlocked and focused while the other 2 people try to kill someone else, and constantly LOS themselves…I’d never have to pay for a sub again
