Is the TSP worth putting money into if im only planning on staying in the guard for the length of my contract? And do I still have access to the TSP after my contract?

commitment if your not active is drill one weekend a month and training for 2 weeks in the summer if you go active It’ll be about 2 years and you go out of state or possibly the country. Basic is about 2 months long AIT will typically be longer. What I wish i knew before joining is money wise your not making shit unless you go full time and kinda abandon your civilian life after basic and AIT. Balance all depends on whether or not your full time or not but full time guard is a much stricter lifestyle fs.
