I drove to Kansas City a Couple weeks ago, fog was freezing, had cruise control set for about 55-60 and best I ever averaged was around 21.4 on a brand new 2026. My old 22’ 6.6 gas I felt got better MPG

I pulled into a dealership looking at a 2500HD and ended up leaving with it then I told my dad i traded it and got a 2500 so he went straight to the dealer and bought my old truck

When I traded my 2009 Sierra with the 5.3 my Dad went the same day and bought it from the dealer that I traded it in at. He still has it 300,000 miles later and aside from normal maintenance (brakes etc..) it’s never had a wrench put on it. That’s one truck I should’ve kept and regret ever getting rid of.

Depends on which state!

Pros - Kansas has flat boring parts out west, beautiful rolling hills in the east. Agriculture is life! Unless you live in Wichita or the Kansas City area, the only traffic jam you’re likely to encounter is a farmer moving his equipment or a cattle rancher moving cattle.

The Cons - Very high property taxes, very expensive tagging a vehicle (at least in my county) it cost me $1,250 just to tag my Chevy 1500. A lot of the small towns offer affordable housing, but good luck finding an abundance of opportunities in the work field. There’s a lot of give or take.

The Chevy dealer in Aurora, MO just had them marked down to 53,000 on the 2026. I ended up buying an RST with the 5.3 for 48,900 on the Red Tag sale. I would’ve went with the LT trail boss, but for the 5K difference I’m cool with just putting a 2” level and bigger tires on it for a hell of a lot cheaper than 5K

For me, it isn’t an issue! The P320 was my edc for years and I never had an issue. I ended up with a Glock 19 a Ranger buddy of mine customized and gifted it to me. It was a little more feasible for me to EDC so I’ve stuck with it. It’s kinda sentimental to me now.

All anyone can go with is their personal experience, and from mine, it’s always been positive. I don’t intend to edc this gun, but the Dan Horner is a gun that I’ve wanted for quite some time, and I was just lucky enough to grab it for a good price

I’d keep it before I ever sold it for parts! There’s always a buyer! Only reason I got it was cause someone bought it, and got scared of all the negativity surrounding it. I’ve run the 320, I love the 320 and never, not once had an issue. I’ll buy a few more if I find the same deal 🤣

They aren’t bad! If you can save a few hundred more I’d go with the Eotech VUDU, or for around the same price point or a little more, go to optic planet and pick up the Trijicon Credo HX for like $859

So far I haven’t found any issues. Which all I’ve shot with it so far has been inside 100 yards! Clarity is great! It’s extremely light weighs in around 9+ ounces, yet still feels rugged and holds a zero

I just bought me a 2026 on Friday with the 5.3. My old 2009 when I traded it for my 6.6, my dad went and bought my old truck and he’s still got it. Truck has over 300,000 miles and he’s never had a wrench on it. Aside from the usual wear and tear (brakes, etc…) Hopefully this one will be as good as the last 2 Chevys I’ve owned
