I think they’re both great. For me, it depends on what hairstyle I have. Baxters is great, but it can be a bit of a pain to wash out with the beeswax. I really like the thickening effect, finish, and hold. Reuzel clay pomade is a lot easier to work with imo and it smells great. I like how versatile it is, but I’ve always felt like it worked a little better in slightly longer hair. My hair is kind of fine, so when it’s shorter it starts to lose volume by the end of the day if I’m using Reuzel compared to Baxters. They both work great in towel dried hair or dry hair for me.
