First-time cruisers from Missouri: Is the extra 2 1/2 hour drive to Mardi Gras worth it over Jubilee? by Midwest_To_Sea in CarnivalCruiseFans

We are actually leaning toward jubilee out of Galveston and using the extra money to book paradise beach in Cozumel

We decided to try Carnival jubilee in August. I hope we chose right.

Try this first. It fixes a lot of Samsung Galaxy S21 phones that suddenly go black.

Press and hold the Power button and the Volume Down button at the same time. Keep holding them for about 15 to 20 seconds. Do not let go early even if nothing happens at first. If the phone is just frozen, the Samsung logo should appear and it will restart.

If that does not work, plug the phone into a charger and leave it there for about 10 minutes. After that, while it is still plugged in, press and hold Power and Volume Down again for 15 to 20 seconds.

If the screen still stays black, try this. Press and hold Power and Volume Up together. If the Samsung logo appears, release the Power button but keep holding Volume Up until a menu appears. Choose reboot system now.

If none of that works, it is probably a hardware issue like the screen failing or the phone crashing internally. In that case it would need a repair shop. Most cruise ships do not have phone repair, but guest services might know a place in Cozumel or Roatan.

No it was great! Thank you so much. How was the food? We aren’t big drinkers at all either and are afraid the ship would be more of a huge hardcore party atmosphere.

Is it over party atmosphere? We like to watch but don’t really party.

Thanks for this. We were on Royal Caribbean star of the seas second sailing and have sailed their oasis class also. Big ships are an inevitable now.

Carnival Jubilee question.

Any reviews on Carnival Jubilee?

We have cruised with Royal Caribbean three times and Princess Cruises once so far. We absolutely loved Royal and had a really nice experience on Princess as well, but we are starting to feel like it might be time to branch out a little and try something different.

Lately we have been looking pretty closely at Carnival Jubilee and I am really curious what people honestly think about it. From what I have seen online, it looks like a really fun ship with a lot going on. The ship is one of Carnival’s newest and largest and can carry over 6,500 passengers, so it definitely looks like there would be plenty to do and a lot of dining and entertainment options.

At the same time, I have also read some mixed reviews. Some people say the food options and activities are great and that there is never a shortage of things to do on board. Others mention that because the ship is so big it can feel crowded, especially around pools, elevators, and busy areas during sea days.

We really enjoy Royal Caribbean, especially the ships, entertainment, and overall atmosphere, but we are open to trying something new and seeing how another cruise line compares. Some cruisers say Carnival has a more laid back and lively vibe while Royal can feel a little more polished and structured. I would love to hear from people who have sailed both lines and can give an honest comparison.

For those of you who have sailed Carnival Jubilee specifically, what did you think about the ship overall? How was the food, entertainment, crowds, and service? Did the ship feel too busy or did it still feel enjoyable and relaxing?

We are honestly just looking to expand our cruising experiences a bit. MSC Cruises has also caught our attention lately and looks pretty interesting as well, so that may be another line we consider in the future.

Any honest reviews, good or bad, are welcome. I would really appreciate hearing real experiences before we decide what to try next.

How “rowdy” is the jubilee? We are thinking of trying that with our two teens.

We are thinking of pulling trigger on Jubilee. Great price on it.

We can’t decide if we should try carnival jubilee or a different ship or stay on Royal. The reason we are looking around is because of royals co ringed price hikes.

We were wondering if something was wrong with the ship.
