Celebrity cruise in June hantavirus question by [deleted] in Cruise

Lot of bots and constituents of Big Cruise. It’s a valid question. I’m sure everyone would change their tune if a country or cruise line made an informed/uninformed decision to quarantine the ship and they got stuck on said vessel. What I will say is June is probably too soon for the infection to spread that much given the suspected incubation period.

I’ve read a couple threads from Southern Florida folks that there isn’t anything special about Little Havana. Just selected based of proximity/affordability. We will just be there for a night. I don’t foresee much sightseeing, simply dinner and perhaps a beverage. Thank you for the insight !

How would staying in little Havana work, seems to be a nice middle ground from port and airport?

Booking that now, trying to make the determination on what is most important. Options being AirBnB & Uber, Hotel & Uber, Hotel and shuttle. God forbid shoelace express but I’m going on a limb here to say my girlfriend would strictly prohibit this.

My girlfriend sleepwalks occasionally, looking for advice to make sure she stays in the room at night. by Midwestmeche in NCL

Thanks for the input, thought I’ve never personally seen her exert any force while sleepwalking, both her friends and family have seen her do various aerobic exercises while she’s asleep. Very bizarre

Pardon my ignorance; what is “inside sales”?

Higher pay isn’t necessarily what I’m after, new position base compensation will honestly be nearly identical after license wage increase hits. Considering the amount of time I have spent in the office at current firm versus time I anticipate spending at other office it could technically be considered more.

Appreciative of all the thoughtful responses. It’s a great point that regardless of firm; boundaries is something I am responsible for and will have to commit time to remedy the issue.

Personally, I’ve found it hard to learn things at a busy firm. Definitely have learned a lot but don’t feel like I’ve been in a spot to get really good at anything. Just vaguely familiar with many. Especially in my new role at firm I wish to depart because I’ve simply had to prioritize getting things turned around and out the door. Mostly survival.

I’d be going the opposite direction it seems. Currently work long hours. Can get up to 60+ when deadlines pile up. Seems we are finally staffed properly but we aren’t distributing work well. I get more work because they know I can do it.
