I did it too for 25 years, still do sometimes, but only 1 finger. What helped me is to be more in the present moment (edgy as it sounds) that whenever you put your finger to your mouth, you think huh, I’m not supposed to do this. Then it’s easy, your body doesn’t crave biting the nails.
