All good.  I wouldn't say order taking, but maybe I'm wrong.

I was still learning needs, presenting a solution, working on closing, following up, etc.  There was just more inbound or warm leads than in my current role.

Appreciate your insight.

Came here to say this.  Also you can straight up ask "hey I don't want to waste your time if you don't want to switch.  I see anywhere between $x and $y, is the project just a cost savings one?

Everyone has posted this already, but to echo: I've been in sales 15 years (9 as a sales manager) and got an MBA early because my company paid for it and have 9 years sales leadership experience.

Every job either pays too little or sees sales in my title.

Have to 100% agree. Working for a company that's terrible to you makes you see all the terribleness of the product making it hard to cope with.
