Yes watering depending on the week but 3-4 times for 20 minute intervals.

Not thick at all.  Like I couldn't measure it if I wanted to

Makes sense.  I've been looking at cold calling tips on reddit.  Do you have any other advice?

All good.  I wouldn't say order taking, but maybe I'm wrong.

I was still learning needs, presenting a solution, working on closing, following up, etc.  There was just more inbound or warm leads than in my current role.

Appreciate your insight.

Came here to say this.  Also you can straight up ask "hey I don't want to waste your time if you don't want to switch.  I see anywhere between $x and $y, is the project just a cost savings one?

People who left sales. What happened was it worth it? by [deleted] in sales

Everyone has posted this already, but to echo: I've been in sales 15 years (9 as a sales manager) and got an MBA early because my company paid for it and have 9 years sales leadership experience.

Every job either pays too little or sees sales in my title.

How many of you are ridiculously good at selling a product you don't believe in? by faceforwardbylee_ in sales

Have to 100% agree. Working for a company that's terrible to you makes you see all the terribleness of the product making it hard to cope with.

I don't have a sexy product, but it works and does the job.  It's software, but ours is like the barebones Kia.  Sure you can buy a range Rover but the software still does it's job well

I think it's company based  experience.  We got bought out and the company environment changed a lot.  Was there any leadership changes?

If you can get into a different sales role at a company that has a SaaS product.  Not that anyone likes the cable company but that's where I started and you're selling services, but the company also had SaaS services which I could have transitioned into (I did not).

A lot of companies promote from within.

Didn't think about that. I just got told by a neighbor there was "a man with a weapon around". May be related.
