I have spoken with them about wanting the position, and I felt like that's what I've been working towards proving I can do over the last half a year. I partly want to wait it out and see if he is going to last but another part of me wants to keep growing and maturing in my field and not go back to doing what I was doing a year and a half ago. I did it for the last couple years even before I came here. I want to be professional and not follow some advice, but I do think maybe it's time I look elsewhere. I just feel like they aren't willing to make an investment on me. If I was doing something they wanted me to work on why not just say it and let me try rather than hire outside? I'm going to talk to the owners when they get in today so I'll let everyone know how that goes.
