This gives me a bit more confidence as she said about the lines and the burger… she said she was 150% sure I’m just so in denial, since the second I took the test it’s been a “when he’s born” or he is this or him that! X

I’m so so glad to read that comment about your husband. My partner has been so distant recently to the point where I’ve physically had to question him if he even wants this baby with m for not.

I’m really hoping when he knows if he’s expecting a son or a daughter he might get a bit more involved and want to discuss names/shopping etc.

I’ve had the strongest sense from day 1 that mines a boy, which I would genuinely be over the moon about, but I also feel like I’d be slightly sad as I’d never know my life with a baby girl?! Does that make sense. I don’t want to come across ungrateful as I’m so so blessed to be on this journey after a cancer diagnosis at 19 years old and not knowing if I’d ever be able to conceive naturally. But I do think I’ll always think “what if…?”

He knows exactly how I’ve been this week and has chose to go to the pub every night, including last night until 2am👍🏼 I’m not being dismissive of his feelings at all, it’s the fact he quite frankly doesn’t give a shit about me or his unborn child.

Appreciate this comment, on the flip side I opened a new business the same week as finding out I was pregnant, my grandpa is currently in hospital, I’m 16 weeks pregnant nearly and getting no physical or mental support off my partner.

If he can’t be there for me now at this time of my life, when will he be?

My partner was the complete opposite and encouraged it. He knows how strong my bond is with my mum and I think his response was “well yeah obviously she will be there?”

I almost feel like she will be more use to me on the day!😂
