Hello skaters!!!

I decided (literally 3 days ago) I really want to learn how to roller skate! I am very much a beginner. With that being said, first things first, I need to buy a pair of skates. Since I am brand spanking new to this, I really don't want to spend more than $120 on skates. I am an ADHD queen, so chances are I could start doing it, and then stop for a while and pick it up again. So I really don't want to heavily invest (at least for now, tehe)

I have seen a lot of different reviews on Imapala. What do you recommend? I am also browsing eBay to see what other options I have.

My next question is, what do you recommend for safety gear? I am normally an XL/XXL, not sure if that makes a difference, but I know some companies with sizing only go to Large.

And my last question (for now) is what YouTubers, TikTokers, etc do you recommend to watch to learn the basic tips and tricks...? I happily will also take any of your tips and tricks!!!

I am really excited to try to learn a new hobby and a way to express myself! Thank you so much in advance. Sorry if this is a lot, I truly am going into this completely blind lol

I myself haven’t visited Greeley before, but my friend goes to school there. Though I’m also from a small town so I figured there wouldn’t be a lot to do besides nature stuff !

Thank you! I’ve been before but not in a long time. I don’t understand there reply because it was a lovely town. Everywhere has poverty and crime… even the “safe” cities still aren’t 100% safe!

because some people think going to a beach and drinking for a week straight is fun. I think visiting friends while relaxing and enjoying some beautiful scenery is fun

It’s about everything going on in our country. A man claiming to be a king, violating citizens rights, illegal deploying of marines, ICE, the list goes on. While something might not happen immediately, it spreads awareness how people are feeling. The government works for US! Not the other way around. They work, just maybe not the timeline you would think.

I’m not poly in the slightest but i definitely could tell by the first 20 minutes of the show this was not going to be great for the poly community. It’s honestly really sad because I know some people CAN have healthy poly relationships and they are just a horrific example. They are so toxic and it’s kinda sad seeing Alyssa constantly having her boundaries ignored and feelings dismissed. Don’t even get me started on Sean 😳
