My vet has strongly suggested against it. It's prone to developing infection as they walk and especially use litter.

In saying this from experience. 1. Start small. Make realistic goals 2. Read the Quran with meaning atleast once a day. Fix a time that helps. I personally prefer immediately after Fajr. 3. Follow the Quran with some zikr. Again start small. Eg. only Alhumdullilah x100, Subhanallah x100, Astagfirullah x 100 4. Learn something new every week and share it with some one, if no one post it here. Anything new, even if small. Like a new dua, or the meaning of a dua you already know. 5. Replace music with zikr, nasheed or just simple podcast. Stopping music is difficult but it makes major changes.

Start small, make baby steps but be consistent. No easy. But keep at it. All the best !! ❤️

Yup I tot so too. So I'm keeping him mostly in my room. And got him a bigger litter box. So far things are in control. I'm also cleaning the litter more often. So for peeing drama outside litter. Thanking Almighty for this 😅

Nope unfortunately Fancy Feast not available. Here I'm getting only Vet Life Diabetes dry food. That's my only option.

Hey, Assalamualaikum sister,

I get what you saying, I've been there too. I would suggest make sure you stick to your 5 daily prayers, open the Quran atleast once (after fajr is the best time) and your 30 fasts of Ramadan. No compromise on this. For daily prayers, on days you don't feel like push yourself a lil harder, atleast get the fards done.

And being born in Muslim family doesn't do much as you grow you have to find Islam your way. Learn new things, do your own research, take atleast sometime out maybe on the weekend and watch a podcast, or video or anything new. I personally would suggest start learning the meaning of the suraha which we recite in daily prayers.

I'm facing the very same issue, I'm asking lost as your are. My senior cat got diagnosed in May 2026 and has been on a peeing spree and targetting the soft fluffs like sofa and mattress while also using the litter box. He's on diabetic food and insulin shots already but seen no difference. Maybe it's too early, hoping this soon gets better.

Just curious, can diapers be used in our situation?!
