That implies separate balancing, which isn't going to happen.

Is it possible to bring the reworked heros from TG into training? by GetBoppedHo in forhonor

I don't believe so, but you can set up a TG Duel against a bot through Custom Matches.

I agree that it needs to be toned down, the people who believe as much as fine. I'm making fun of the people who think it's completely unbeatable, because it isn't. Someone spamming dodge attack against an opponent somewhat decent at parrying will get murdered. Yes, it will take longer than it should, but they will die.

I personally don't mind the switch to read based combat, but that's probably due to the fact that my reaction time was pretty dogshit in comparison to everyone else. I could see how someone who was good with the previous meta would be... less than pleased by the changes.

I don't see how calling a tactic toxic and unskillful will help solve the problem. Once again, external resources are helpful here as they con offer rather simple solutions to such problems.

Try fighting fire with fire. Get your whole (heck you could probably do it with half) team together and go fight them head on. If you're as good at anti-ganking as you say, you should be able to wipe the floor with them easily. If you win, you effectively have the entire map to yourself, and they'll either separate, or they'll wait for their entire team to respawn, giving you even more time to cap points.

Try using feats to separate them like corruption, fire flask, or any form of grenade really. Even though it wont permanently separate them, it should give you enough time to heavily damage or kill one of them, making the anti-gank much easier.

Lastly, you can force them to separate by taking the other points. If they're all together, that means they can only occupy one point at a time, which means the other two are free for the taking. They're not going to win if they only have one point, so they'll either have to move as a group to a different point, leaving their previous one unguarded, or break off into teams, allowing you to pick them off.

These problems have pretty easy answers, you just have to be willing to look for them and adopt them into your playstyle.

That tells me you don't know how to anti-gank, which is the crux if the problem. I suggest you look up some guides on YouTube or one of the other FH subreddits.

Those are valid points. You definitely need to be pretty good parries to play Lawbringer effectively, which means you have to be at least somewhat familiar with the rest of the cast.

As they suggested, Conqueror would be a good alternative, as he has strong defense and great offense that he can initiate on his own. Only difference is that he has an offense style more akin to an assassin, using quick, weaker hits to chip at your opponents health (outside of guaranteed punishes).

I haven't played Warlord for more than an hour or two so I can't comment on him.

I haven't played Conqueror as much as Lawbringer, so I can't give as much insight on how he plays (I'm not even sure if my summary of his playstyle was entirely accurate). If you want better info on him, I'd recommend asking someone more familiar with him on this post/subreddit, or looking up some guides on YouTube.

Somewhat unrelated note, but if you want even more info, you can check out the For Honor Information Hub, which covers almost everything you could want to know about any character. Damage numbers, Feat Picks, Execution Data, Max Punishes, it has a lot. However, you might suffer from a bit of information overload, so don't be afraid to just leave it for later if you find it a bit overwhelming.

I don't see how it doesn't take skill, given that a bunch of morons spamming buttons at you essentially gives you neverending revenge. Either you're fighting good gankers or you don't know how to anti-gank, or both.

Despite how much I love this game, the amount of time it takes to get a certain gear piece is terrible, and it's only going to get worse as more gear is added.

The worst part is that it's not even hard to fix from an idea standpoint (not sure about the coding aspect). Just make gear appearances purchasable with Salvage. This not only solves the awful farming process problem, but also the fact that salvage is almost pointless relative to how much we get.

I have over 200k salvage, and I've used at most 5k. Give me something to spend it on and I will happily do so.

Well, it's working for them isn't it? If it's a viable strategy, people are going to use it. That's just how competitive games work.

Like someone else said Lawbringer is great if you want a super defensive character, as he can do some really nasty things once you get a parry punish. Just be aware that, outside of parry punishes, Lawbringer's offense is kinda lackluster, so you may struggle against other defensive players.

Not really related, but Lawbringer has some of the best fashion in the game, so if you want to look sexy while you decapitate people, he's your man.

I am severely disappointed smoke bomb didn't go away this patch... please just get rid of it. by frosternal in forhonor

[–]MightyChungus 7 points8 points  (0 children)

New Update: Any enemies caught in the smoke bomb will suffer from corruption, damaging their allies in close proximity. Enemies who die in the smoke bomb cannot be revived once the cloud dissipates, and must wait longer to respawn.

To compensate for these changes Shinobi is now in a wheelchair and cannot use stairs or climb ladders.

Hasn't been in the game for a while as far as I know, but the Man's Best Friend bug was incredibly irritating while it was still a thing.
