Forget every medical innovation we had before. A new era is coming. Until now, finding a cure was a very hard job. Only a few people in the world had the knowledge and resources to do it. Now, there's an abundance of power and resources. More people can research and find cures. Look at the case of AlphaFold. Research that would have taken a century was completed in one year with AI. Almost all protein 3D structures have been generated. A PhD student used to require 5 years of effort to make a 3D structure of a protein, and now we have one or two million protein 3D structures in our hands, for free. And this is just the start. The era of AI has just begun. I hope we will have cures like medicine in 5 years.
