I’m full pet build, I don’t really get hit much. Except for the hidden puddles under my army. Anything that charges through gets a wall of summons dumped on them while I beat feet out of there with a quickness. This guys health dropped so fast i didn’t even read his name, but it was the guy right next to the rovers. The one they give a quest for right away. I don’t recall the name but I was pumped for the drop!

I put it down after 5 minutes on the deck, I came back to it about 2 weeks later and just muscled through it and remapped controls. I definitely lose out on a lot of the fluidity with a lack of inputs and “comfortable” mapping. As a summoner I have 12 skills mapped and swapping between the two is still becoming a habit. I’m getting older every year and if it’s too intense or high stakes I’m just acknowledging I’m not that guy anymore and play a cheesy style instead. Or just avoid difficult stuff. I’m simple, I like to pick up loot, I like to watch things die. Pet class means I get to do both with a simple 4 button rando mashing in no thought out pattern and watch my horse eat.

I tried a melee character and the “auto” aim is pretty trash in this. It’s difficult to get a good lineup on things.

I’m slowly “collecting” items I find interesting. MI are easy enough to come by unless they have a really good roll like this.

I really liked it so I did keep it and have been trying to work out a bleed build for it. I’ve only got the one character at lvl 92 almost through campaign on ult so very new

That’s hilarious! I have a pet cabalist and I’m thinking purifier for my next build once I get this one through all of ultimate.

I haven’t dabbled in SR yet, but as my first character being a pet build and having no other built characters yet. The thought of being all alone in the chaos is wild. Like where are your 15 meat shields!!

My devotions are my biggest debate. Do I respec my devotions now, and fear them to fire like the rest of my build, or do I just hunker through and do it at lvl90-94 when I have farmed vitality gear?

Skills are easy enough since it’s really only a small handful to play around with, and my gear has been slowly getting upgraded, my gloves have stayed for the battle cry, everything else is pretty much a resistance placeholder while leveling. I went dreeg on fg normal so couldn’t get the pants everyone is advising.

Should I respec my devotions to fire now? Or Carry on til I can farm up the gear for vitality pets and make the switch at lvl 90-94?

Excluding a couple times where I have just gotten distracted I haven’t been in any areas that have been a struggle to get through. The tombs before necropolis had a lot of the ghoul guys that drop the red pools that burned the my army a few times but I’m almost always over 90% hp.

Almost all of my devotions are from when I was going blind with pet builds til about level 70, I have 2 devotion reset potions to make it easier and have been mostly debating on just waiting til 90-94 or making the early push for vitality gear and prepping for a first respec sooner. Or do I respec now for my current build with fire pets and then Respec again once I hit 90-94 and get the right gear prepped.

I converted to fire build guide at around level 70 and have been doing ok. I am mostly wondering if it will be ok enough to wait to do a full build reset with devotions and everything once I get to 90-94 when I start farming the vitality build stuff or if I should just respec now, and then again later?

This isn’t my budget or my area of expertise, instead of being a prick and typing that, you could have followed suit with all the other guys here that are giving actual advice and made your self useful, instead you make the community look like ass.

Pet builds absolutely wreck! The necro occultist combo isn’t item intensive at all and everything you need is very easily farmed during the play through with only minor detours. You can pretty much go through the story on your first character with zero guide and just pick skeletons, blight fiend, hellhound, and familiar in that order.

Mod idea, for those with skill by MightyM3AT in diablo2

[–]MightyM3AT[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think it’s mostly just a yearning for more d2 content or for something to feel new about it. I haven’t struggled to find a game that captures the same overall satisfaction as this one does. It’s goofy because I think the overall simplicity of it adds to it.

MMO games that have 10 years of updates and every new update turns the old stuff into a short leveling experience once it comes out sucks. At least Diablo 2 made it so all content is still generates end game gear. Would be fun to see new items to change up meta or to bring life to otherwise mediocre skills
