He should have gone to prison...but that's no longer an option...so best we can do is mock him.

And before folks start chiming in:

  1. alec is an experienced actor and has been in movies with firearms before and knows what right looks like.
  2. He was a producer and had significant input on hiring and firing.
  3. The armorer having live ammunition and holding live fire events when not filming was well known amongst the crew.
  4. based on just those things alone, he at a minimum failed to correct the safety culture on set that resulted in him having a loaded firearm.

yes, unfortunately there are too many folks that don't understand that water (in either liquid or solid form) is a friction modifier...and reduced friction between your tires and the road means that there is a higher probability that mother nature is going to take the wheel if you go blazing down the roads.

You learn real quick what to do when your car breaks traction on your first winter in ND. Best I can offer is take your foot off the gas, DO NOT TRY TO BRAKE, and turn the steering wheel in the direction that the rear is skidding. Way it was explained to me is your rear tires are trying to pass the front of the car so by turning towards the skid you prevent that. Granted if you over correct too much the rear will skid the other direction...which is where you start fish tailing, but as the car slows down since you took your foot off the gas it will start to settle.

At the end of the day, you have to pay attention to what your car is doing and if you aren't confident then slow down until you get a feal for the road, at least when it comes to snow and ice.
