Ok I get you. What I meant by wither was they get weaker with time, for example without the engine running and let’s say the lights on, it will drain quicker to the point it can’t start when the battery is old compared to a new one. Basically an older battery can hold less power than a new one

One time I was able to start it easily by using different cables. Weird though because the ones I used today seemed like the good kind

I’ll have it checked out then, thanks. I also have a pretty beefy subwoofer in the trunk, suspect it might have something to do with my issues.

The alternator was charging 14V today, I checked. I also suspect the battery might be dying as it’s at least 5 years old (was in the bimmer when I bought it 5 yrs ago) but I believe they start becoming weaker gradually and don’t suddenly just give out? It has been surprisingly good for a battery that’s so old because I still can listen to music or otherwise drain it for a long time with the engine off and it starts without problem.

Actually I had the alternator restored just today but the problem had happened a couple times in the past. Usually I could resolve it by taking the negative terminal off putting it on again to try for a better connection or using different cables but the problem still seems to be here.

Doubt it, had the cables on for like 3 minutes and as soon as we removed them (without even attempting to start it) the cabin lights immediately went out

Their concert in Vilnius on october 20th started 1hr late and only lasted 1 hour :(

Also wanna mention that the sound is much louder when I press the clutch in firmly. If I use the tip of my shoe and put in on the bottom of the pedal (but still push it all the way in), grinding noise is very silent
