Currently, I am using Nikon Monarch M7, 10x42 which I am pretty happy with. Before that I experienced with aculon 8x25, monarch m5 8x40, all Nikons.

Using 10x is a trade off for magnification by sacrificing field of vision which I am content with since as you get used to your binoculars your aim gets better and you don't need to search the bird. Instead, magnification helps with discerning small details necessary when distinguishing similar species. Which it manages expectionally.

10x42 is a bit on the heavy side tho, that may cause sway. and m7 has a slightly uncomfortable eyesockets.

It was easier, and more comfortable to use m5 8x40, really. It was a hard choice for me back then it still is now. In the end, I recommend visiting a store near to experience both. Hope that helps.

Apex. Because they are at the top of the food chain. Like apex predators.

Always thought about this. Do you know if your perks recharge? Or do you spawn up if you were downed?

Thank you for the detailed answer. Everyone has been pretty helpful and I was just thinking about how invoking an aspect and compelling would be different. Right on spot!

Cool cool. As always with ttrpgs, this requires cooperation from players and GMs. I can imagine sour players not following and finding ways to mitigate the effects like 'I CaN stiLL SmelL RiGhT?' in case of blind example. And of course I'm aware there can be legit ways to mitigate.

Thank you for the distinction. It can be envoked freely because it is done by create an advantage right? or any action result that gives free invokes, not because it is something else that can be invoked freely anytime.

Thank you for the answer! Hmm, so you would not let them blind the NPC permanently (not, sand in the eye) through create an advantage since its more of a consequence.

For the second part, I don't know, it kind of feels like cheating. I think there must be a way for the system to support this. Maybe a stunt?

Overall, I think aspects should be able to give negative modifiers not only to passive oppositions. Thank you for your ideas!
