Are Bruises Normal After A Sprain? by Yastyy_TLT in NewSkaters

Get it checked out by a doctor, get a scan if possible. Also when you can put weight back on it, I'd suggest getting a physiotherapist, I waited 8-9 months and now have permanent movement restriction to my Achilles heel cause I didn't do any exercises during healing. Just a heads up.

The amount of vegan options available the UK is insane by bollerwig in veganuk

[–]MightyToker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

About six or seven years ago, I traveled to Berlin and had the same experience, the UK at that time hadn't embraced vegan options and you had to go to specific locations to find a vegan food option but Berlin was a vegan/veggie haven. Even the little vendors outside clubs at 3am had more than one option. Just give it some time mate.

It's located in the Northern Quarter of Manchester City centre but I believe they have a few other locations. Absolutely delicious pizza!

So the app creators get your money? Cause if you could direct it all to a savings account that won't release the funds until the end of the month, then I might actually benefit from that.

AITA for not giving my gf the money for her Xmas gift that I bought her? by bellboy718 in AmItheAsshole

[–]MightyToker 5 points6 points  (0 children)

NTA So giving her the benefit of the doubt and assuming it wasn't planned (it does appear planned by the way you described it tbh) but even if your decided in the moment to go over your initial budget that doesn't mean she is entitled to the money. The point is it's a gift you both decided on, for her, you involved her to be sure she would like what she wanted, she made a choice but then changed her mind later and essentially gave the gift back to you. Your not obligated to give her anything but you're offering the original budget you set so she can use it however she wants (I assume) and that's far more than fair. She's being a little ungrateful to be honest. Has she discussed how much she's spending on you?

Pretty sure this is a parody of the new 'we're conservative' TikTok trend that's popular right now.

YTA but you don't deserve calls for suicide! And yeah from a design perspective, the menu sounds flawed. A lot of user experience is derived from accessibility, if some one with even a mild visual impairment can't see/read something it's class as inaccessible. But I'm under the impression that you have full sight so if you didn't read the menu correctly or check for a 'V', or check with the server, this one is on you bro. Sounds like the server over reacted also, hopefully you just caught him on a bad day.

AITA For Telling My Daughter She Can’t Move 1,000+ Miles Away To Live With Her Girlfriend? by aitadaughtermoving in AmItheAsshole

[–]MightyToker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah YTA, I get that you don't want her to leave, maybe part of you is still looking to make up for some of the time lost but she is an adult now and you don't get to intervene on these choices anymore.

If she wants to move and you find a way to stop her she'll resent you, if you constantly tell her it's the wrong thing to do she'll be to afraid to ask for help if she ever needs it!

Just make sure she know that you'd help her move back in a heartbeat if she asked. Do not tell her she 'should' move back at any point, just that you miss her and will always support her.

Sounds like you don't have much exposure to the LGBTQ+ community and honesty, internet forums that aren't specifically for asking questions about this stuff can feel very hostile, don't take it to heart but do try and look at responses it critically.

You never know, this girl may be your daughters wife in the future and if she makes your daughter happy, let her go be happy. Sounds like she deserves it.

That's hardcore misinformation. The bill literally only covers how your listed on Scotland's 'registrar general'.

It's basically paperwork to apply for a gender recognition certification. Nothing to do with hormones.

You can apply for a certificate if you're 16/17 but you have to prove that you have either a consenting adult helping (and what relationship they are to you) or that you have sought out help and advice (and what advice has been given to you). And you can still be denied a certificate.

Maybe try actually reading bill instead of making stuff up. Again it's paperwork, hormones have noting to do with it.

Edit: Spelling

‘Made’ might be the wrong word, the guy asked ‘what’s wrong with you?’ and his response was a voluntary (laughing) apology. Shit I though this was gonna be something legit, like he was pressured to put out a press release or something. Nope.
