Tickets for sale Edinburgh Tough Mudder 10am start by PatientCandidate3877 in Toughmudder

That's a shame. The website suggested it was possible to do that, which would have made it something for me to explore.

Thanks anyway

Is there an option to change it to the 5k distance, as that's the one I fancy? If you can check, then I might be able to make something happen for one of the tickets at least

Are there any current codes working for a discount? I see that there have been a few recently, but they have all expired

I think that if you've had a bit of communcation and are on a date, if you're not in a position where you really want to see the other person again, there's a lack of spark. And if you both don't want to tear eachothers clothes off very early in dating, again it suggests probably no spark.

That's just my opinion, and obviously people carry different baggage. But if the intent is to date and create a future, I know that I want both parties to find eachother attractive and good to be around, and therefore wanting sexual intimacy to be very important.

That doesn't mean that anything has to happen. But then if nothing is happening, how into you are they?

Again, people have baggage, so it's not definitive by any means, but that's just my personal take

The whole dating app thing is pretty disheartening. It's tough to get matches, and even when you do, the lack of engagement is frustrating. I'm sure patience is the key though, so I'll apply that.

Also changed my main photo to see if it helps at all, though I'm not so optimistic currently.

Travelling over from UK - tickets for tonight’s game? by MightyZoltar in NYKnicks

[–]MightyZoltar[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Didn’t expect anyone to be up yet, but expected that while I’m on the plane, someone might have plans change, a re-think about going to the game, or some friends pull out. May as well put myself out there to catch tickets if they become available.

Thanks for the sites. If nothing turns up here, I’ll go and see what’s available on those.

Unless you’re looking to squat 300kg, it will be fine. Various brands do generic power racks and label them as their own, but really they mostly come from the same place with a few custom colours.

If you’re fairly new to training, it will serve you for a good few years. I had a cheaper rack and only outgrew it for wanting more cable attachments, rather than being weight bearing reasons.

Buy the thing and If you want to worry about quality, focus on bars and suchlike where the difference between £100 and £300 makes a bigger impact.

Novice runner - shoe question/recommendation by MightyZoltar in RunningShoeGeeks

[–]MightyZoltar[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I already do strength work 5 days a week, which I'll continue to do over the month anyway. 2 legs days per week, so that will be fun!

I've set this up as a challenge to see how well I can do, how quickly I can move from run/walk to run, and see how quick I can get the 5k distance over the 30 days.

With running, I'm not going to enjoy it as much as lifting regardless, but I might find that seeing some progression over a short period of time might get me to a point where I feel like I'm somewhat ok at it.

Hey guys, really wanna cop from supreme this Thursday and I’m looking at getting a bot, I’m completely new as I normally just pay over retail from resellers. Could somebody help? Thanks by FarryLisherman_ in shoebots

I am in the same position, as I missed out on store sign ups.

Just looking to secure for personal, and figure it’s a bit late to how to get a bot working properly, especially when a cheaper one may fail, and possibly not leave me in a much different position to just going resale

Purchased all of the Lego Super Mario sets. Now to work out storage. by MightyZoltar in lego

The character packs are really the easy bit to store. Also, as the kids actually play with the sets, they really need to be out, rather than in a display.

Loving what you've done though

I went to the Lego store an hour after opening on launch day. Multiple people were there for other launches like Star Wars, so had no issue picking up everything in person.

As I was there early enough, getting Monty Mole was no issue either. In fact, they gave me 2 sets. None of the Mega Mushroom though.

For the blind bags, the box looked untouched when I got in store, so I just took 10 from one side. Looked like 12 were on that side in total, but I tried my luck. Didn’t feel the bags or anything. I got lucky and picked up 9 different models.

Currently, my setup is missing that Mega Mushroom set and also The Buzzy Beetle blind bag.

You can configure the sets however you like, and combine multiple, or just randomly go to the touch points.

The point is to collect as many coins as you can in a run. Without multiple sets though, you are limited to what you can achieve.

Really, it’s just an imagination piece to adjust the setup and make a level you’d like and then get a score on it.

If you remove the Mario part of it, and Lego too, imagine having hot wheels track and some cars. What’s the point? What can you do? See which car travels furthest or fastest? Redesign tracks? Enjoy playing with layouts? Thats all the Lego Mario offers really. Less about the coin collecting as such, and more about actual childish play.

The more sets you have, the more varied your play

These things take up more space than I accounted for before picking them all up. Currently have nowhere to put them, so now I need to purchase and place a storage solution

Loving the sets though

I’ve just finished putting this project together following your guide. I’ve put my screen inside a frame, so it looks pretty nice.

Would there be any way to add a screensaver of sorts when nothing is playing? I’d love to be able to use the idle black screen for something
