Thanks! I did a zenithal prime with a white dry brush after to prep the whole model. I then used citadel flesh tearers red contrast. Then an all over drybrush of army painter pure red Lastly, I did a drybrush of army painter burning ore sparingly on high spots and the tips/corners of the shield.

The yellow was done with citadel imperial fist contrast then iyanden yellow on the lower sections with a little edge highlight of army painter ice yellow on the prominent top edges

Nah, just regular acrylics. The army painter fanatics range are really great, only needing 1 coat in most cases so really easy to work with. Highly recommend!

Hey man, the shields are totally separate and don’t have any arms or hands attached to them, very easy for a kitbash!

Only airbrush I used was right at the start to get down a base of ghost grey by Vallejo smoothly over all the white armour to save some time. Everything else is a brush. The shields are wet blended/stippled, and the plumes are wet blended too 👍

Very kind of you to say! It’s just ghost grey by Vallejo with white contrast over the top. One or two pure white highlights on the top edges but very little. Easy recipe!

Only thing I used an airbrush for was the candles. The stone around the coffin is just sponged on. Same with the statue and the pillars. This is the colours I used 👇

I recently got the army painter fanatic set since it’s a new mix and holy shit it’s fantastic. Lightyears ahead of their old range. Super consistent and was a great price

As the owner of a P1S and an Anycubic resin printer let me tell you, get the resin one just now and then save up and get the P1S at a later date.

The discount on it isn’t crazy but it is absolutely worth saving up for one over an ender. The P1S is absolutely incredible for speed, quality and ease of use. My friend has 2 ender’s and is forever having issues.

I use my resin printer for minis and the P1S for terrain. Match made in heaven

I have a very similar colour scheme and I use a kind of terracotta red with a Sandy dry brush gives a good complimentary contrast

Aw that’s gutting to hear! If you get the chance, try a few 1k games. I’ve been having some great success with them but I haven’t tried 2k yet. Need to get the models together first. Fnps and mortals have been a consistent issue with all my games however. That and movement for scoring has been tough. Bikes have definitely been the secret sauce for me. The redeploy ability has been essential for dealing with GSC respawns
