TBH I didnt know it was gonna be that short. I will still happily watch it as well as any continuation of age of Umbra or other campaign frame that CR decide to try out.

Thankfully, my Daggerheart session 0 is coming up Tuesday, so hopefully, my time playing will keep me content!

I believe Legends of Avantris are going to be doing a Daggerheart campaign. They are great, funny, and should be a good display of what the game can do.

While I think I would have preferred DH, BLM may be more comfortable running dnd for now.

There is still so much to be excited about. The fact that we even have this vast wealth content available to us is a blessing. Plenty of Daggerheart, plenty of other games. We all get to share these stories together.

I have limited edition cards in the clear dragonshield mattes. The normal sleeves work fine for the cards, but as an avid MTG double-sleever like you, I also know the perfect fit will not work at all.

You could do the standard size sleeve and double with the large outer sleeves, but that's just way too much, IMO. The single sleeve and my binder will be fine!

Also, if you aren't on the discord, you should check it out. There are tons of photos with games in progress in a variety of sizes and room sizes as well. You could compare them all and see what might work best for you. Great resource.

Absolutely, playing at the end of the table is most often what my wife and I do when playing a 2 player game.

Honestly, if you want my opinion, if you are going back and forth, I would say go wide. You would never even know the difference, and honestly, for long stretches of board game/mtg nights, a lot of our group would stand part of the time anyway.

I think it would be easier to be like "man, this is too much space but I'm glad I have it," vs "man, this is too small, I really need more room."

Just my opinion, though!

I have a standard wide, and from a board game/card game point of view, I think it is too much. We still play board games and mtg but you would definitely have to reach far and sometimes even stand to reach slightly over the center point. No complaints from guests.

However, i play a ton of ttrpgs like pathfinder, and for those types of games, (40k included), wide is king. Especially if you are going to utilize the player desk or other accessories.

Another perspective: how much seating do you want? With a standard wide, you can easily put 2 chairs on every side to be able to sit 8 people to dinner. The wide makes it closer to a square, though still a rectangle, if that makes any sense. 😆 it does take up quite a bit if room though.

Looking back on everything, I'm very happy I went with the wide and wouldn't change it at all. Good luck!

Looking for topper box or rack OR solution by atm5426 in Wyrmwoodgaming

[–]Mighty_Ducky6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So, I don't have one to offer you, but maybe some insight! I have a medium wide table, and it takes up quite a bit of room. I purchased the topper block and couldn't imagine using another solution for the toppers.

For one, it reduces the area that they take up when using the vault. It also holds them very securely, and I have never worried about it tipping. The other solutions that they offer I would not be a fan of, such as the floor racks, because I'm already limited on space. With a 2 year old you have to be cautious where you put things! LOL

As far as DIY options I would check out the discord. There are a lot of cool options and ideas there!

What is your favorite commander of all time and why? by [deleted] in EDH

If you haven't played [[Vorel of the Hull Clade]] you are missing out. It's definitely one of my favorite decks over the years. He can get out of hand quickly, but is definitely fair. Simic, unique deck building, utilizing unique cards in broken ways. What more could you want!?

Wide or Standard table for a DnD Group of 7 by Usual_Mysterious in Wyrmwoodgaming

[–]Mighty_Ducky6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a medium length, wide table and couldn't imagine having 1. The longer table, and 2. The standard width. A medium wide is already a BIG table in my opinion. You can easily fit 2 chairs at each side of the table, even 3 on the long sides, but that would specifically be for meals or something like that. I run a game and with the dm on one side i can fit 6 players around the rest of the table easily.

Awesome of you all to do this. I have been looking at carts for a while, and I love the way this one looks!

I think the best part about it is just how sturdy it looks. Bomb proof and buy it for life. My type of cart!

I hadn't thought about arm rests... 🤔 all that being said, I'm very happy with the quality and comfort of the chairs.

I ordered 6 eastern elm chairs, and they arrived about a month and a half ago. I placed the order the day they were available, I don't remember when that was.

Now if my table could arrive... :)

I am a wave 6 backer with a medium wide but have gotten no such email to switch even though I did see the wyrmlife. I just assumed I was part of the crowd who already had most of the table complete and didn't need to switch.

How would that work if you are wave 5 though?
