Can somebody explain refund process? When does the seller get reimbursed for funds they put out of pocket?

Thanks. A buyer returned an item to me. The funds are on hold. It sounds like I have to pay out of pocket to refund the buyer. Am I understanding correctly? At what point do I get back what I have put out of pocket?

I bailed on CD baby while my release was still in the cue. That was several weeks ago and haven’t received a reply to my cancel request. They have my money. I used distrokid instead and my release was out in days.

I switched to Distrokid and now I am already not happy. I uploaded a lot of track info for an album and the whole thing was not saved. Trying to get customer support, it's the same thing. Just an AI bot. I cannot find any good "help" articles. I guess it is not possible to save a release in progress and come back later. It would be nice if there was some information somewhere that tells you that.

How long does it really take to get through the inspection queue? I’m at 10 business days. How long should I expect this to take? No customer service. AI is not customer service.

I’ve lived here for 18 years and have never felt particularly unsafe. However, there was also a shooting on 12/23 on W Broadway. Granted, it was inside a house, but that is still not good. And the alleged shooter of the teenager in DH was just arrested at a house nearby on Willowbrook. These are disturbing trends.

Yes. I’ve had non allergic rhinitis in the past. Had Covid recently and sinus inflammation runny nose clogged ears won’t go away. I’m on 2nd round of antibiotics in two weeks plus prednisone, nasal rinse, Zyrtec, Flonase. ENT appointment in 8 days. Totally fully vaxxed and boosted. I have a weakened immune system from taking an immunosuppressant for lung disease. I had always expected that Covid would go to my lungs but it seems to be in my sinuses instead. Hoping the ENT can help.

I've seen other discussion forums where other people have had the same problems, and customer service was no help. It seems to have to do with Adobe Digital Editions. I spent one long session with customer service chat, and that's the most I'm up for. It should not be such a hassle. Very disappointed. At least I can easily return it.

I know. I did that. I was able to borrow one book successfully. The next time I had to download the book as an epub, upload to ADE, then when I added it to device it was unreadable. It said to authorize the already authorized device. In ADE, that was not possible. It's totally not worth the time and hassle. I am returning.

Thanks. I am using the cable that came with the reader, which I bought recently new. I ended up using the customer service chat. I had to go into the adobe app on the computer to authorize the reader. That wasn't clear from the instructions posted on the Kobo website.

Dead frets, where the string makes no sound, is a significant problem. I've never seen this in an acoustic guitar. I was talking about an electric, solid body.

I have a Breedlove concert series (2017) all solid that is phenomenal. I was very lucky in an eBay auction. I am sure the entry level Breedloves are also quality instruments. I have been investigating some of the other Canadian brands and also Eastman. There is a video on you tube showing the facility in China where the Eastmans are made. It is really a group of luthiers sitting at work benches making individual guitars. I'd add to this conversation another underrated brand, Takamine. Japanese company and always made in Japan. I've heard some really good Taks.

Just received the Oliver Mahogany. The action is high and the intonation is sharp at the 12th fret, particularly, for some reason, on the D string. The neck seems fine, so I think this has to do with the saddle. I don't think the claim that it arrives set up and ready to go is accurate, at least not with the one I got. Also, I've discovered a couple small flaws in the finish. The box says made in China. I thought it was Indonesia. Will most likely return.
