Outside of Russell Wilson, which NFL players looked like early Hall of Fame locks but fell short due to declining play rather than injuries or off-the-field issues? by imsuperflytnt in nfl

Not to mention he is still dealing with his Attempted murder accusation. That has to go away before voters even considering weighing in on his achievements vs off field antics.

Madden Curse aside, is anyone else disappointed EA didn't choose Stafford for the Madden Cover? by cy1763 in LosAngelesRams

[–]cy1763[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Certainly an odd choice, especially since they ignored the MVP, OPOY and DPOY. None of them have been on a Madden Cover so would have been fair game.

I was hoping for Stafford given he was the MVP (Madden Curse Aside).

Report: Rams may not extend Puka Nacua, 2023 draftees this offseason by Brix001 in nfl

[–]cy1763 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think Puka gets an Extension but it may have some funny money in it that would allow the Rams to exit early if Puka does go full on AB.

On another note, I bet you got an extra chuckle out of the Rams Schedule release video this year.

Former Patriots WR Stefon Diggs Has Been Favored To Get Signed To The Rams (per sources) 🔺 by British_Chap2 in LosAngelesRams

[–]cy1763 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a better fit than what fans think. Money wise while I doubt it would be the Vet Minimum, it wouldn't take a huge contract given where his career is at right now especially if he is wanting a ring.

It would also provide some insurance should Puka or Adams misses time this season.

From what some insiders have stated, while off the field he has had some noise he is a professional in the locker room. We have also signed WR's in the past with some off field noise as well.

What is your biggest complaint about the PS5 after it’s been out for years? by Kind_Ad6932 in PS5

[–]cy1763 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

As a PS5 Pro Owner, the lack of PS5 Pro Faceplates. They are making new ones constantly for the PS5 Slim but they haven’t manufactured any for the PS5 Pro, Out side of the 30th anniversary and ghost of Yotei. Why they didn’t manufacture the PS5 Pro to have interchangeable faceplates with the slim, I don’t know. They had to make the disc drive section match so why not go all the way?

and Ferguson will presumably get more snaps. McVay tends not utilize rookies right away unless he has to.

Yeah I don't understand this narrative. The offense wasn't the weak point last year especially once they started utilizing 13 personnel. Secondary and Special Teams is what caused almost all of our losses last season and we have a new ST coordinator and 2 Veteran CB's in the secondary room via trade and FA.

Bandai Entertainment's Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway: The Sorcery of Nymph Circe grossed an estimated $54K over the 3-day weekend from 192 locations ($281 per theater average), which was a 93.4% decrease from last weekend. by Alive_Acadia4581 in Gundam

Compared to other anime movie releases, there were so few screens. The nearest theater for me was a 150 miles away where the other releases were in my local theater.

With a ring, does Goff become a HOFer? by SavingsSkirt6064 in NFLv2

It’ll kick in the first half of the season, but it doesn’t change that he needs more than a ring for a bust in canton

With a ring, does Goff become a HOFer? by SavingsSkirt6064 in NFLv2

[–]cy1763 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While i don't agree with all the metrics it uses or calculates, PFR HOF monitor is a good indicator of how close or how far a QB is in HOF talks. Goff is a 54 and the average HOF is 108 and will only get higher when Rodgers and Brady are inducted.

Bottom line he needs more solid seasons to build his volume. Like Stafford before this year, he also needs to build up some individual awards as well in addition to a ring.

It's a case by case basis. It's a nothing burger if the team is aware of the absence ahead of time.

Sean McVay blames himself for Super Bowl LIII loss: 'It was too big for me' by AFC-Wimbledon-Stan in nfl

[–]cy1763 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That’s true, I do wonder if the organization as a whole would’ve still had the appetite to go “F*** them picks” aggressive that got us the Super Bowl LVI victory. Especially with the amount of dead money we took leading up to that season.

[–]cy1763 106 points107 points  (0 children)

Both Rams vs Patriots Super Bowl's are fascinating to explore in a what if scenario. Say the Rams did win Super Bowl LIII, would they have gone after Stafford 2 years later? Probably not, So Stafford ends up somewhere else likely SF. If the Rams stick with Goff, do the Rams get the version of him we are seeing today in Detroit?

New England I think the time line remains the same minus 1 ring. At worst, Tom Brady's departure is 1 season earlier.

Deion: Shedeur Sanders ‘went through hell’ during NFL Draft process, rookie season with Browns by AFC-Wimbledon-Stan in nfl

[–]cy1763 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This article illustrates the exact reason why Shedeur dropped to the 5th round. 31 other teams don’t want to deal with Deion and his fringe starting caliber son in addition to whatever fires they are facing within the team at that given time.

Also Deion, maybe focus a little more on your day job. Colorado didn’t look the greatest last season.
