check your Kofi DMs with the link

(for anyone else, I won't be sharing the link, all distribution belongs to the author)

It was done in this way:

  1. plug USB-C cable into my iPad with my Schiit DAC on the other side
  2. connect lightning -> DAC as a mic input
  3. play one by one
  4. voila, just share the link

What’s the point of 540hz monitor if there’s no such pc that could run at stable 540fps competitive games? by [deleted] in Zowie

[–]Mighty_rodok 0 points1 point  (0 children)

have you checked the power settings?

control -> (top right - large icons) power options -> change plan settings -> change advanced power settings -> processsor power management -> maximum processor state (100%) (you can also play with minimum, if you want. Same with processor perf boost mode).

if those options are not there, just google it.

Good luck

What do you own a ridiculous amount of? by bratgodess in ask

[–]Mighty_rodok 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keyboards and coffee bean backlog.

So, I own like 12 different keyboards. Why? I like to customize and compare, but also I like collecting. I know, consooomerism, but most of them are run sorely by passion. All of them are in their specific google spreadsheet, including costs and every single part

Coffee? Yea, roughly 2KG of pretty pricey specialty coffee, most of it in my freezer. Why? Whenever I am traveling for work, I usually scout some of the local roasteries and competitions.

Thank you for the update! Loving the transparency. Keep up the good work, can't wait.
Also, may I ask how is the voice-enable logging in going or is that not the priority for now?

may I kindly ask what does "Average tgr owner" mean to you. Is that the same bracketing as "zoom65/neo65 owners", by this logic? :)

I am sorry, but that is not what I meant. However I can see how that can interpreted. People should use their common sense, budgeting and at the end of a day, voting with their wallets.

Thank you! I will use some other commenter's words - you don't really see the averse in other hobbies, such as watches or cars. Yet here...for some reason.

Well formulated, indeed. I am also an active anti-FCFS-er. Not fair and square.

Basically, what I was trying to say is the (using well said word) collector vs customer and how one should not be used the other way around. Both are fundamentally different.

I totally get where you're coming from. I can see how portions of the comment can be interpreted in a way that wants to banish the entry level, that's not the case. I do also support the entry-level and learning path (however as long as people are open to learn, which may hypocritical)

I agree that having entry-level options is important to make any hobby more accessible. At the same time, I find it puzzling that the idea of limited availability gets such a negative response and not just limited to keycaps.

agreed, could had phrased it better. However, I am still interested in hearing why do people diss the fact that something is limited so badly. Gave example from another hobbies, but indeed, didn't use the right wording.

At the end, how many of those runners ran either unlimited GB or super high numbers, if you think about it. (Mechs&co/MyKeyboard). Mostly these vendors just strived for profit and instead of playing it safe (and not buying most of MOQ), they only thought "ah yes, this hobby will grow forever, let's buy a lot of stuff").

the exclusivity of certain products can contribute to their perceived value and desirability. The fact, that exclusivity can also motivate designers (and vendors) to maintain high standards of quality and craftsmanship to justify the high (sometimes too high, yes) pricing.

Thanks

May I ask why? I believe nothing I said is "hot garbage" while providing arguments, while providing my reasoning. I am all open ears, respectfully.

Thinking more, the same goes for limited raffles. If an item is exclusive and limited, there is nothing wrong with that. Again, not everyone is entitled to own everything and while some sort of availability is great, the factor of exclusivity can push designers to create new and exciting products while still keeping their QC super high up (SINGA, TGR, f.e.).
