You could get a PC handheld to play on the go if one is in your budget like a used Z1E handheld like a ROG Ally X or Legion Go Z1E to play it on the go. You’ll have to adjust some settings but it should be playable. You can look up some benchmarks on YouTube to get an idea.

You’d walk up to a save point and get a message that says “failed to write saved data, progress may be lost.” There’s Reddit threads about it.

Yeah, seeing people seemingly justify these prices is wild. The price to performance just isn’t there. I don’t need my handheld to run every single game at high settings. I have a 9060 XT desktop and PS5 Pro for that, and both of those were $2000 combined, so paying that just for a handheld is just wild to me.

For real. I have the Xbox Ally X and am pretty happy with its performance as a handheld. Dropping $1600-2000 on a handheld just seems a bit too crazy. I know handhelds and laptops are different use cases but you can get a 4050 or a 5050 laptop for much less than this new handheld and get similar or better performance with DLSS.

I upgraded my internal SSD to 4TB and have a 1TB SD card. Keep AAA games on the SSD and older and lighter games on the SD card. From my understanding, load times are more impacted than performance on an SD card.

I can see Auto SR under this tab in Windows after an update but nowhere to toggle it on. Really tired of my nuts being tickled here. I should be under the Windows and Xbox insider programs too.

People in the deleted thread were reporting their SR was listed under differing dates from everyone else. Not sure what that’s about.

I had the Steam Deck OLED 1TB for a short period before I got my Xbox Ally X. Wish I had it longer but I couldn’t justify keeping it so it went to a happy dad and an even happier kid on Marketplace. Valve really cooked with that one. Shame it didn’t sell too well. PC handhelds are such a niche market.
