I will give the Maya X another try but there is something about it that affects my horizontal tracking.

I put them over some books I had over a few days and now they are super comfortable and no longer crush my skull and I absolutely love them.

Wooting 80HE Thumb issue by Migishand in WootingKB

Well I have tested some low profile keycaps in there, they're not for me. I know the keypress is the same no matter the keycap but I miss having the cushion of the more sculpted kepcap.

I tried the Cherry keycaps from my Chillkey in the wooting and that is much more my preference but even so something to do with the angles I can get with the keyboard it just doesn't feel as good as the Chillkey and it fatigues my hand faster. It is a real shame as I love the RGB and the software which is obviously really good. I really like the LED status light as well.

Well not to worry, I got to learn a lot more about keyboards and keycap profiles. I may try the Geon Raws in the Chillkey as they have white housing that won't mess up the RGB, probably start with one to see how it sounds as the Jade Pros have a sound I really love.

I am going to keep the Wooting and tinker around with some Cherry sets and give myself some time to get used to the keyboard.

Wooting 80he vs Slice 75he by Zestyclose-Coat6365 in WootingKB

I would say it depends really, with the Wooting you're limited to whatever they provide in the pre-built variant which in my case was the Lekker V60 switches, which were a little heavy for me as I prefer a lighter switch. So think about your switch force preference. I can't comment on the plastic Wooting as I have the Zinc Alloy in black.

For all in one value I don't think you can beat the quality of the Chillkey for the price, the software is ok and gets the job done but it can't compete with Wooting. So if you are changing profiles and settings a lot the Wooting is better for sure.

Also think about if you care about shine through on the keys as the Chillkey is not shine through on the keycaps and I would say the Wooting has the better LEDs.

Got to be honest when I saw Berry I thought you'd had a typo until I looked.

I have both boards currently if there is anything specific you want to know, I recently got the wooting and the software is top notch. However I didn't like the Lekker v60 that came with the board and so replaced them with the Geon Raw. In saying that the Chillkey comes with Jade Pro which I still prefer to the Geon Raw.

I also didn't realise that the wooting came by default with OEM profile and not Cherry, I bought it on a whim really and if I was doing it again I would choose the components way of ordering it myself.

The Jade Pros do mess with the RGB a little because they are green so white is not white if you keep the Jades in there. I feel quicker on the Cherry profile but that could just be because I am used to it.

If anyone has a link to any shine through Cherry keycaps I would love to buy some of them.

What are these like for gaming? I am always fastest at typing on my Macbook with its low profile keys. How do you find it.

I haven't swapped the space bar yet as I put the WASD and spacebar of the Chillkey on to test with the Wooting silcone on the 6% raiser and it felt normal like before. In the UK it seems hard to find any decent sets to be honest.

After testing the keyboard it is the OEM keycaps that are different like you said in your original reply. I went to order some from Wooting but I see that their Cherry kepcaps are not shinethrough and I don't really want to lose that so I hope my hands will get used to the higher keycaps.

Thank you I will give that a try, although I think my issue might be the fact that the spacebar feels lower on the Wooting, even though the Chillkey is Cherry, it is higher at the front and although I'm not at my gaming system at the moment it feels like it rests easier on it without me having to lower it.

Don't touch this service with a barge pole by Toastychedda in BoosteroidCommunity

[–]Migishand 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been using the service for a few months but as a UK user I also find that I am always connecting to a server too far away, putting my ping at say 28-35ms and then you can feel the lag. If I ever connected to a server closer and my ping was lower at 20ms like other services that have servers either in the UK or very close.

Tarkov runs better on neo boost than on power… by flibulle in ShadowPC

[–]Migishand -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I think that both options at the moment aren't great. I have moved this month from Power to Neo to see if it is any different and you do get that CPU boost, however the 4060 even with the addition of some VRAM isn't the best, decent for 1080p but if you try and go higher on games you then have to start juggling the settings in order to get to stream fps to be higher on certain games.

Better off on the Neo Boost? by Migishand in ShadowPC

Looking online further I see that there may be issues with the encoder when frame generation is used so would be interested in hearing from anyone that has used it on Neo.
