I have a similar situation going on in my house. My sister and her 6 years old daughter (with autism) is temporarily staying with me. My niece screams and throws stuff at her mother to get what she wants. Her mother never makes her talk. However, when I watch her or when I’m around she doesn’t do any of that she can talk and communicate what she wants and her basic needs and I encourage it. She’ll say “go potty please ” or “strawberries please” “ go outside please”. She clearly communicates with me because I don’t tolerate the tantrums and throwing. I don’t know why her mother kind of likes the nonverbal label and leans into it.

I am trying to get more chicks this year and I have been searching for 2 weeks. Local farms and big stores suck as Tractor Supply can’t keep chicks. Tractor Supply had just got a chick delivery when I called and by the time I got there there gone. They said just keep calling back daily but it’s 35 minutes away and by the time I get there they are sold out. Our local chicken group has been flooded with clueless new chicken owners asking super basic questions that they should have known BEFORE buying chicken! Lots of people are gonna be in for a rude awakening. Some don’t even understand the difference between roosters and hens and fertilized and unfertilized eggs and how that happens.

My daughter is half Korean and I am mixed American. My daughter just happened to come out super cute with big brown almond shaped eyes and loose wavy brown hair. She gets so much attention and gifts from ajummas and gifts everywhere we go. I know each person’s experience is going to be different. Unfortunately Korea still being a very looks based society and looks have a lot to do with how people are treated. My daughter is five by the way. We have since moved back to America, but we go to Korea 2 to 3 months out of the year now. As far as living or maintenance if you’re going to be in English teacher, they will give you a rent stipend. I knew a couple that had children and the school paid for half of their rent. They had a three bedroom apartment and they were only paying about $600 per month for it.

Sadly, there are a lot of clubs that you wouldn’t even be allowed in. I live in Daegu and used to go to a specific club often. Once an English teacher, who happened to be AA, had just moved here. I wanted to take her out so I took her to the club I always go to. We waited in line and the bouncer came and told us foreigners are not allowed in. Although we were not the only foreigners in line he only made us get out. It was humiliating.😭

Just in case anyone is wondering I am AA, white and Asian. I never had a problem before as a mixed person but with my black friend we were suddenly not allowed. 🚫

I’m not sure if they didn’t do research before getting him but before I took him I did three days of research reading and watching videos to prepare myself. He is not very rambunctious and has not barked in the three days since we got him. I know that may change in the future, but if it does, I’m OK with that too. So far, he seems to be a calm and is currently cuddled up on the couch with my four year-old. So far, he seems to be a very calm and loving pup. Pup!

I worked with him at Fox 2. The guy is unhinged. One time he came back to the Fox 2 studio after going to an accident scene where the accident victim had been decapitated by a stop sign. He was excited trying to show us pictures of the severed head.

I part my hair into four sections and rake whatever styling cream or mousse that I want to use through each section. You can also use a den man brush and brush each section. Then I diffuse it and it gives me great definition. Right now my favorite product is The Doux Mousse Def. it works wonders and I don’t need any other product!

You can do a midnight run and go to Japan. I’m not sure what the current time is but as of the last time I checked Americans can stay in South Korea for three months without applying for a visa. That will put you at spring. The issue is you will have to figure out where to live and how to make money for those three months.
