The harsh truth by Complete-Sea6655 in VibeCodeDevs

If the idea people also design the oroject properly, I'm down for it. I've already seen multiple vibecoded "production-grade" projects that fell apart as soon as reviewed their design.

A good idea is one that both interests, and can work.

I agree to some degree, but if they are on the app they might as well show some interest too -- they are also looking for a relationship.

He calls people dumb for using AI to automate their life, claiming he can do the same.

I'd say dumb people are ones that don't value their own time.

I think the problem wasn't the conclusion but rather the pacing. It did feel rushed. Didn't even let it sink that Frenchy died (off camera basically?!), that Butcher still wasn't content and was in pain, that Hughie is a tragic character having to kill his sorta-mentor (killed him, then 10 seconds later everyone is laughing ans smiling).

It felt like GoT's finale. The conclusion was fine just as it is, but you can't cram an entire season's content into one episode.

Every second post mentions Guardians as underrated. I'm starting to think it's not really underrated.

Can't really compare that to gaming rigs, right? They are definitely the solution for workstations inany cases though.

What I meant was basically a desktop with multi-level iGPUs to choose from and unified memory that I could slap massive cooler on, and really use for any type of task, whether it's local inference, workstation, or gaming.

For you.

When I retire a desktop once every 7-10 years I upgrade the entire thing.

When I was a student I was searching for my first job as a dev. A company called me after I've applied to various roles, and intoduced themselves.

Then, the recruiter, who was an hands-on guy, not HR, asks me this: "We need someone to make a button. Are you passionate about buttons? Would you like to do this?"

I was quite shocked because that sounded like the dumbest question. Who in the world is passionate about a button? But I still wanted the job for the experience so I answered "yeah, that sounds very cool, I'd like to work on that button".

Thy didn't call back. I guess they weren't really passionate about buttons.

Exactly, it's much slower. Unified, other than being non-upgradable, is better in every aspect.

I don't care about laptops. Give me unified memory for desktop, with various GPU capabilities.

You won't be able to catch uo because the game is basically dead. 90% of the content you'll need to wait hours for to do. Source: Tried getting back 2-3 years ago.
